There has to be a maximum range in MMOs, because all important calculations are done server-side, and the server needs to cater to all who play. In a single player game, your system's CPU power caters to one player alone, so it may go nuts on physics and might let you shoot and hit everything within visible range. I enjoyed being able to do this in Oblivion as well, but the ranges in ESO or other MMOs aren't that bad, either. You'll get used to it.Yeah but after playing so much of previous elder scrolls it was a major let down. The bows are a let down for this game they don't measure up to the previous games. Trying to attack someone from a large distance doesn't work you get invisible barriers.
