Kicked for "spamming"

graveytrain
So, a few times the game boots me and says it's because I'm sending too many messages to fast (spamming). I don't understand how this is possible. There is no chat box and I haven't been mailing. Both times it's happened I've been wandering around solo. Any idea what is causing this so I can prevent it from happening? Thanks.

Happened to me also when I was in a boss fight with about 50 other people for a quest. I think it has to do with people in your area and what they are doing also.

    The message is misleading.

It's not chat messages, it's Client/Server messages which you have no control over and is caused by LAG ...

Apparently, if you click too much while the server is lagging, when it stops lagging it will try to input what all commands you had entered while the server was stuck. So actions from pressing the action button count as sending a "message" when really you're just sending data to the server saying that you interacted with an object. But to the server, that's the same as a message for some reason. Earlier today I clicked a butterfly 50+ wondering why I wasn't collecting anything, only to be kicked for spamming after a minute.

As for preventing it... if something doesn't work or react when you click it... just don't click anything for a minute. Definitely don't spam click.

Well, that's a bummer. It doesn't seem to want to let me back in either. Hmmm
