Determining MOB Level?

In WoW, a mob was color coded relative to your level so you'd know it's level compared to your own, and if it was a mob you'd get xp from. I've only played the prison break and it quickly mentioned a mob's name is fancier I believe if it was a special boss-like creature. Does this also indicate its level? Thanks.

✭The Mob's level will be written out next to it's health bar, usually, if you have it targeted. You should see something like:
14 Wolf
or
27 Bull Netch
The fancier bars are just reserved for those mobs like special bosses and world bosses.0 -
