Invisible enemy NPCs (work around)

Doing the Tempest Unleashed quest in Khenarthi's Roost. As soon as I go in through the door, the enemy NPCs are invisible but can attack me and my NPC companion but I can't see them or attack them. Eventually my NPC companion also became invisible. Also... other players become black silhouettes in the same area. Tried re-logging and this didn't fix it.

Any suggestions?

Follow up... now ALL NPCs in Kheanrthi's Roost have disappeared. This is in the NA server, BTW.

Follow up # 2... tried using a wayshrine to go to Auridon to see if it would fix it... found all NPC's missing in Vulkhel Gard also.... most players are black silhouettes except for the odd one who was rendered.

Follow up #3: tried logging in a different character... same problems then I had an infinite loading screen logging off that character. Finally exited the game altogether. When I logged back in, the NPCs started coming back one by one and the other players got rendered and were no longer silhouettes.

Sounds like server lag ... had that happen in the early days of the PC version too. Hopefully there will eventually be cached data on the PS4 drive that will allow NPC rendering to occur without loading data from the server
Everyone knows the phenomenon of trying to hold your breath underwater - how at first it's alright and you can handle it, and then as it gets closer and closer to the time when you must breathe, how urgent the need becomes, the lust and the hunger to breathe. And then the panic sets in when you begin to think that you won't be able to breathe - and finally, when you take in air and the anxiety subsides...that's what it's like to be a vampire and need blood.
