I don't doubt that some "knowledgeable" people ofttimes attend these meetings, but I've seen people that are not exactly knowledgeable attending as well.

I don't even care if they don't play their own game. Shouldn't have to for balance.

The thing I would take issue with is not even understanding how their own game works.

I've all but given up entirely on this game. I'm sick of the poorly structured AP system, the exploiting and cheating with absolutely no consequences, and the lack of effort from the developers. I've resorted to leveling new characters just to keep me busy. And when something in this game pisses me off, I go play FFXIV. Because even though the combat isn't all that great in comparison, at least it functions, and has way more features than this crummy game. It saddens me how I stuck up for this game like a naive fanboy for so long, when in reality, I was just in denial because I've put so much time playing into it that I didn't want to believe that it really what most say it is. I have an internal list of players who deserve to be banned permanently from this game but because no PvP'er is banned for anything, the community will continue to degrade because they know they can literally get away with anything. I mean, why not cheat if there are absolutely no consequences. It's very frustrating and people who worked their butts off to earn Alliance Ranks/Emperorship the right way are just being kicked to the curb.

Not to worried really, I paid a sub until the game went Free to play, but as a customer, I`ll not buy anything from their Cash store or any future game they develop or publish, as they have shown themselfs to be incopentent, and untrustworthy.

Both have the same type of AvA , since Land of britans is modeled after oldschool DAOC RvR . and Elderscrolls AvA is modeled after DAOC RvR too.

Camelot unchained is developed by the same people who developed DAOC so for those that enjoy the Cryodill type of pvp should find it fun.

You can add http://crowfall.com/ to that list. It's another upcoming 3-faction AvA. Looks promising.

Point being: the thing that makes ESO pvp unique is about to start cropping up in a lot of other games, with better balance and better performance. The clock is ticking, ZOS... step up your game or consign yourself to the ash heap of history.

ESO pvp unique ? all they did was copy the same pvp system that Dark age of Camelot designed back in 2001. IE. DAOC Complete with running the scrolls . although they were Relics there.

It`s not unique the reason it is modeled after Dark age of camelot is Matt Furor was a dev for Mythic that created the MMO Dark age of Camelot.

And yes my Guild Gaiscioch is watching several upcoming MMO including Crowfall and Shadow of the Avatar being made by Lord British maker of Ultima online.

I'd recommend not getting too invested in any of those games mentioned yet. Over the years there have been dozens of "super innovative and/or old school MMO by indie dev" attempts and pretty much all of them turned out to be steaming piles of you-know-what.

What the Camelot Unchained team in particular has disclosed about some of the game systems sounds way out there, players other than DaoC vets with rose-tinted-glasses will just ridicule them for that stuff and never touch the game again.

Someone here on the forums brought up the point few weeks ago that ZOS devs talking about adding content so close to the console release could be misconstrued as Day One dlc, which the mere speculation of could damage the game's public image. ZOS is probably keeping they community in the dark to prevent this kind of detrimental speculation. So, similar to the weeks following the ESO:TU launch, there will probably be a flood of dev comments immediately after the console release. Frustrating? Absolutely. Has ZOS abandoned us? Probably not.

Is anyone still paying for this game who only wants to PvP? I'm just waiting to see if nirn gets fixed and if Zeni is going to fix PvP DPS issues. But I sure as hell am not paying for the waiting.
