What it states it almost 30% of the current 'PC Master Race' will be playing on a console. That is a huge percentage of a PC dominated genre... If this gets traction I foresee many others in this genre making the jump...

Yes... and your point? Only players that have access to this forum have paid for the game and activated an account so PC players. And ~30% of them are going to try/move to console. We have yet to see what the console communities think of ESO but you know what.... I think it will be a money maker for the Dev's and enjoyable to the console players...
The forum goers make up probably the smallest handful of players you could imagine... 1-2% of the player base. These types of polls are only for us PC players to poke fun at -- nothing more.
It's a POLL on a ESO PC forum, asking ESO PC players if they are transferring to console. Not sure there is a more relevant place to ask this question.

I will be thinking of you as I push back on my recliner and play ESO on my 120 inch theater and chatting with my guild mates without the need for a 3rd party addon to do so. What am I saying I won't give it a second thought...

I'm a console gamer to begin with, I hardly buy PC games because so many of them require DRM(Steam, Uplay, Origin) and there is no Internet when I go to the 2nd home, visit the parents or most of my family or friends. In another 5 years Internet will likely expand into those areas and then I may change to a PC gamer but as it stands its too restrictive.4 -

For the price of the offer, might as well buy the PS4 version (I know others that have only brought it as it's so cheap) , for £13 it's worth a few days messing around from time to time.
But my main play will still be the PC and there's no way I would ever have considered the console version for anywhere near the full retail price.
A bit like me buying Morrowind for my Xbox, Oblivion for my 360, Skyrim for my PS3, got them all when they were dirt cheap just to have a play on from time to time, but still played main (heavily modded) games on PC.0 -

I play pc on my couch. So does everyone I know. Because we like relaxing while we play, and we like our PCs. Some of us even have it setup so that we can move seamlessly from room to room, and its not even that expensive or technical to do.This one has an eloquent and well thought out response to tha... All my friends are playing the PS4, I like to play with my friends so I'm going. Remove your first bit trust me you will get in trouble for it.
Well i always figured it was offered to us that have been here since beta because we were dedicated.
Then i came to realize that they have to supply a pc server no matter what so they dont want all their pc players swapping over. So only a handful were offered the transfer from the start but to make sure everything was sorted because they are going to have to manually copy (for part of it at least) over that there had to be a deadline to this.

Somewhat true, but let's be honest, theres rarely anything insterresting on a forum unless you know an announcement or something new is about to be released. If you don't want to see useless poll/topic, im afraid that forum arent for you my friend.

I have Velcro patches on the arms of my Lazyboy for my naga pad and g13.
Been playing MMO's like that for a decade.
That said, I bought a ps4 transfer and I'm going to give it a shot.
The game was designed for a controller, the delays getting console ready for release have been a huge detriment to the game and its community. I'm actually hopeful console sales will be decent and things will get better for everyone.

And my favorite so far is the ps4 and laptop.
Ps4 controller after a few minutes of playing a game you no longer remember its there.
I play my tower and consoles on the same tv but i prefer console on a 60inc i may go back to duel screens for tower.
The consoles because everyone plays on the same setup it is easier for fixing problems.
Elder scrolls online on the ps4 looked no different than on my tower besides the tiniest details like the grass looks a little better on pc.0 -

I am a console gamer from the age of 4, starting with Nintendo 64 up to PS3/3DS/PSVita, as two years ago I received a gaming laptop in anticipation of college. ESO was to be released on PC first and my friend and I were pumped to play a new Elder Scrolls game, so we pre-emptively bought it for PC, unknowing of the console transfer. It has been over a year since and while I disagree with at least half the opinions of the MMO crowd, this is where I am staying.

My friends and guildies are on PC (some of the guildies might transfer, but I doubt many will). My PC has better specs than the consoles. I'd have to buy a new console in order to switch (and knowing me, I probably wouldn't use it for any other games anyway). I can (and sometimes do) play on my 47" TV while sitting on the couch or the recliner anyway. I vastly prefer using a keyboard and mouse to a game controller. I like the add-ons that I use (although, to be honest I wouldn't miss most of them that much if I didn't have them).
I mean, I don't have anything against consoles or console gamers, it's just very clearly not the right option for me.

I am transferring to PC for three reasons which have been continuously ignored by zenimax for PC. Group Finder, controller support, and native VOIP.
I also hate consoles because of their inferior capabilities compared to PCs.
If the number of annoyances on voice chat becomes excessive or if zenimax releases controller support and group finder fixes by end of June i'll probably come back to PC though.End the tedious inventory management game.1 -
