After 50 you get to enjoy 12 more maps worth of quest content before you reach vr14; then you can start worrying about gear.

As far as gear goes, depending on what sets you want, you can either craft your gear, do raids/dungeons , daily undaunted pledges, farm some solo pve locations for set items, pvp or buy it from other players. There is some end game gear that can only be gotten through raids. It really depends on what sets you want.

Enjoy is a very strong word. I honestly feel like most of the questing in this game is a lot of running around for very low payoff. The whole Cadwell's Silver and Gold doesn't make much sense and feels like it was tossed in there at the last minute. Undaunted gear is pretty meh overall and the really good stuff only comes from the end game challenging content.

Is ESO just another grind raids game?
Or is it other ways u can progress your characters and get endgame gear??
If it just raids and Group dungeons to do after 50 its a big FAIL.

It sadly has come to this, another raid or die treadmill for non MMO players, but dungeon dwellers who are happy to farm the same bosses for months ;) .
But don't worry, the times are changing and the companies have finally realized that Raid MMOs are a thing of the past. ;) They all went F2P and sooner or later the more important things like housing, quest and story zones, crafting, world pvp will return!

Since ESO is F2P now too, you don't lose anything If you log in from time to time. I would assume non raid content is in the works, how else will they motivate past subscribers to come back? They all left due the massive raid content that was made while the other stuff was forgotten, so I am very optimistic that towards the end of the year ESO might find its way back to the MMO originals.

Its important to say however, the raid or die treadmill starts at VR 10 with Craglorn, until then you have a lot of new and unique content to discover.

ESO is not F2P. One has to BUY the game in order to play it.

    It's not free.

It's BUY to play. 10/month is optional now.

that is cause it WAS tacked on at the last second. People were annoyed at the concept of "factions being landlocked" and that they could not explore all of tamriel, Cadwell's silver and gold was their answer at the last minute.

Perhaps if instead of calling it "endgame," which is a word loaded with preconceived notions,

we should call it "things to do for experienced VR14"

Lmao you just can't win can you.

People whine about the extra questing with the VR ranks.
People whine about end game group content and raids.
    People whine about PvP.

What do you people want? Geez.

There is a lot to do end game in ESO, just like most mmo's just a matter if you want to do it. Maybe some day an mmo will offers something different, but what could that be ? /shrug

A lot to do? Is this a joke?

People haven't had anything to do for well over half a year now.
    • 14100 Achievement Points
    • All Quests completed
    • All dungeons/trials completed with every associated speed/difficulty achievement
    • Every skyshard collected
    • Every skill line leveled to maximum (including Vampirism, Werewolf & Legerdemain)
    • Almost every trait researched
    • Emperorship acquired & multiple PvP videos made for fun
    • Fishing achievements done
    • Every class leveled to veteran ranks
    • 206 CPs grinded

Are you really going to tell people there is a lot to do?

One year after WoW launch, me & my guild were still working hard to progress in BWL, with things to look forward to.
Back then, I played twice the hours I do these days, and still didn't run out of content.

So please, go ahead and tell people there is "alot to do at end game". Tha .[quo
I dont know but I m under the impression that you ...just play a lot .what is the number if you do this math (/played x 24)/360(well a bit more now).
Just saying that you may not be in the average of daily game time.

Just saying. I don't know about numbers, or where that numbers comes from. But I've now a current active WoW: WoD active subscription and I'm not playing (it's active unitl this month comes out). I've only played the original WoW, BC and WoD, but some of my guildies have played sice the begging, and we all agree on this. WoD is deserted. I don't know anything of Blizzard numbers, or how raids are, but last month i spent a week without seeing another player (even in daily missions zone, far of my guildies... Deserted). I remeber the good old days of WoW. Azeroth had players everywhere. Now... Not a soul. Of course this is just my point of view.

Here in ESO... Even in the darkest caves there people killing things, talking, stealig your chest XD and even making RP...

So, I don't know anything of numbers, or succes... But if what I see in WoD this last month is succes... Well, then a prefer to play failures like ESO

And let me say another thing. Why everyone is so worried about endgame? Tamriel is big. Is brutal. There're a lot of things to do. Has anyone try to raise a merchant guild? Make some RP? Explore Cyrodiil PvE content? With player hunters everywhere waiting to kill you when you pick a skyshard, is a very nice experience. And if you go solo to a Cyrodiil dungeon, you really experience fear XD. There's crafting, and collecting motifs. Dragonstar arenas... Even PvP RP in Cyrodiil. I know a guild that organise PvP tournaments Cross factions in Cyrodiil. They look some remote places and fight in duels with people watching for no one interrupts them. There's a guild that organise thief raiding on city capitals, and even make competitions on who is capable or stealing more money in 10 minutes... They will not get endgame gear, but it's funny as hell.

People really has to use their imagination. MMOs give us big virtual live worlds, but If we don't use them well, and we only let that obsession for "be the best DPS/Tank in the game with that set that will give me a 0.06% more DMG" takes the best of us. If we don't enjoy the world's game as it is... Then what do you expect? There're things to do out there. You have forums, that can be used for more things than just compain about LAG, or how "Dragonkinght is overpowered". There're chats, guild system... Use them. And apply some imaignation to the formula.

well eso doesnt have the money i guess to do what wow did? Just take the example of the wow's updates now. Wow update's nearly every month or 2 with new dungeons ,raids, areas . These in eso would take a year to come.

How does attacking someone for their amount of playtime equate to productive input? I have over 70 days played and am at the same point as DDuke. Everything has been completed and content has been done over and over. There is a serious lack of replayable content that is worth doing in ESO. We need some type of system in place that allows us to work towards something. Whether we are accumulating points or whatever, a lot of us like to achieve things, not stand around in the woods and feel 'immersed'...

I'm still hooked in Cyro....for a reason I still dont know why, but I enjoy it.

If I wasnt invloved in the Cyrodiil conflict, Id be bored out of my mind.

ESO is great! NEED MORE CONTENT!

Not to beat a dead horse here, but I thought Guild Wars 2 was indeed amazing. If anything, just for the art style, story (that is continuously being updated, I may add), and the almost scary friendly community of players. I also would like to point out that in defense of that game, they have added new zones, quests, and objectives to that game every month or less AND they've been buy to play from the very beginning. Plus they've finally graced the community with an expansion, due in the near future. so in my opinion, it's a top MMO contender.

That being said, I also see this game being equally successful, due to the devs being REALLY active in trying to please a increasingly ungrateful player base (read through these forums to see what I mean). I mean if WoW is just the "epitome" of great MMO's why are you even here in the first place? What does that say about the person complaining? Anyways, I'm looking forward to future updates with the game, as I slowly pace my way through this game absorbing what Tamriel has to offer me.

um, you do realize MMO endgame will ALWAYS be either PVP or raids/group dungeons, right?

    Wasn't that way with SWG.

So do what WoW did and do easy mode on everything so all paying players gets all the content without any kind of effort?

How long did WoD last until even the new breed of WoW players was bored? 2 weeks?

No thanks. More quality. Not less.

You pay for the game. Not to complete it.....That's YOU.

ESO needs more content. That they are sitting on......

Even a normal, working person can get 6 hours in daily, but of course this is unlikely to suit your perception of reality.

Finish work at 6pm. 6 hours daily means doing nothing else until midnight!

If you take time off for silly things like partner, children, cooking, cleaning, shopping, eating... you'd have to be playing until 3 or 4 in the morning.

If you take time off for mere fripperies such as watching a TV programme or reading a paper (or maybe even a book!) then you'd still be playing when you had to get up to go to work the next morning!

Every day of the week? Normal?

No, that does not suit my perception of reality :)

LOL. He says read a book... Who does that when you have youtube? -sarcasm-

I think the discussion goes beyond the actual point, even if you havent done all hard mode dungeons and trails, fishing achievements (lol), researched all traits etc there is still isnt much end game content. Raids are fun the first couple times but offer no rewards other than the achievements so there is no reasons to repeat them. Cyrodiil is nice when its lag free but the content here has been the same since beta, so its tends to get boring.

I mostly do pvp and hard mode trails nowadays, mainly because I dont know what else I could do really. I have little over 13k achievement points (without fishing) and only play 4x per week for 4-5 hours per evening, thats 16-20 hours per week. How can I be running out of content with an average game time of only 2,5-3 hours per day? I cant wait for the next content update, I am praying Imperial City will be the next, which will come after console release. I think the pvpers deserve a major update after a year of loyalty.
