PvE Templar Bow Rotation suggestions?

Hello,
What are some good DPS rotations for Templar bow users in endgame PvE? I have gotten a lot of suggestions that seem to just be, "Spam Snipe". But that is not doing the DPS of attacks with similar cast times/channel times, such as class skills like Biting Jabs or other weapon skills like Flurry or Uppercut. I have tried mixing in Venom Arrow for a DoT, Power Of the Light for delayed burst damage, Scorched Earth if the boss does not move around a lot. And of course weaving in basic bow attacks. But the whole thing feels kind of slow and awkward and is doing a lot less DPS than melee attacks.
I am not concerned with gear or absolute numbers, like 20 million DPS instead of 18 million DPS. I am just wondering why my bow DPS is not competitive with my other DPS. Is it a lousy rotation?

Bow is screwed in PvE. Just dont use it. Its too weak compared to other stuff

Truth - at least for Bowplars.

Best bet is:

Open stealth Snipe
Poison Arrow
Vampire's Bane
Degeneration
Shards
Javelin
Back to Snipe and repeat.

Weave light/med attacks as you can, Strikes and Magnum if you need to get some space or move quickly. I forget which of the DoTs is shorter, but adjust your rotation for that. PotL is questionable depending on your base level output and Solar Barrage is useful only if stacking, but usually its useless. 80% of Templar skills are too situation based to really have proper synergy with the weapon skills, hence why Templars will always be lowest DPS, no matter the build.

Vampire's Bane, Degeneration, and Shards are all magicka-based and will do very weak DPS for my stamina build. One Javelin morph is now stamina-based, but it is the lower DPS morph with added CC on it, which is useless in PvE boss fights.

I could probably get better ranged DPS if I went for a hybrid build, but that would hurt my melee DPS which is what I do 90% of the time.

It just seems like there is not much in the way of good ranged options for stamina Templars. :-(

I much prefer melee and can be a solid contributor in that role, but there are some fights that are very melee-unfriendly. And some fights that are not obviously dangerous to melee, but you benefit from having the group spread out due to mechanics.

I like scorched earth, bombard to hold them there and blazing spear for more dps, cooks groups of mobs in seconds.also I think scorched earth is getting a considerable damage boost next patch. Works well on static bosses or with good tanks too as you get the bonus of providing tank with stamina via the spear.
