Other Groups do cause lag. I have experienced lag fighting the big 2 AD guilds on Chillrend. Anytime good organized guild groups clash you'll get lag

Are you serious? Someone causing lag on purpose, so you lag and they don't?

You deniers are like the people who kept denying the earth was round long long long after it was proven to be round. And I think most people tune you out now because as the OP demonstrates more and more people are having their own experiences with the exploiters. I mean really. What makes you think your opinion based denials trumps their experience based opinion?

My experience trumps yours because I'm actually in the group, or in team speak, watching it happen.

Take Arrius last Thornblade cycle for example, with Vehemence and Pride defending. We made a huge siege set up on the top floor, to defend the stairway. Keep lags, siege won't fire, we lose scroll.

And then we are blamed for purposely lagging the battle. Because we wanted to fight outnumbered without siege, for whatever reason.

Stuff like this, all the time. We're in game raging about unresponsive skills and siege while you and other brave forum warriors come here to proclaim we did it on purpose. And it's bloody ridiculous!

I have never heard either of those guilds mentioned in conjunction with exploiting.

Yes lets start giving out bans to anyone who uses skills in Cyrodiil. Clearly they are part of the lag conspiracy. It's mind boggling, the things some people will chose to believe.

Making the ability heal less just gives them all the more reason to spam Healing Springs.
Yes they are using Healing Springs for healing, but no where near the amount they need. They are using Healing Springs because it causes the lag. IOW they would not mind if Healing Springs absolutely sucked because it serves their purpose.

We were blamed in that instance, as in many others. It's an example of how quick people are to blame players, and not the game.

Considering the accusations have flip flopped from one guild to another as to which they targeted. Considering my experiences with the lag firsthand and testimony from players I've known since the inception of the game -- your accusations ring very, very false.

Considering now amount of evidence can prove the negative here, I choose to side with the simplicity of Occam's Razor -- all things being equal the simplest theory is likely the most correct one. That simplest theory being that the servers are simply not up to the effort of mass combat, especially when organized teams fight with large Ulti drops and AE combat (also when zergs meet). ZOS itself has said, repeatedly, that the servers and server code aren't up to it. The Devs themselves specifically asked for us to spread out and keep putting incentives to do so in the pathes.

After the accused have likely been mass reported to ZOS en masse by their opponents, after pages and pages and pages of testimony, they are still here and playing. Unless ZOS is completely delinquent in their policing of this game (does anyone forget that they did, in fact, fix the bot issue?), then they've thoroughly investigated these teams and discounted your accusations.

I remember the lighting patch and the game grinding to a halt due to it. It wasn't my opponents then, and the chances that it is now are remote at best.

Which is why I discount your position.

Also, you should probably learn what a straw man is before you incorrectly accuse someone of it again. For every fallacy you attempted to point out there are two of your own making.
