As a returning player, I totally agree with the OP.

I used to enjoy Cyrodiil, but it's completely out of my reach now.

A new vet<14 campaign would make a lot of sense.

As is, I cannot recommend any friends to come back, because the PVP is no fun for anyone not decked out.

Hopefully the advent of smaller objectives will help.

I feel like nightblade was just rushed during development just to make extra class. Imo,they didnt really put on much thought about skills, only a handful are actually useful. You might think why dont I re-roll to another character? I did, i have vr1 Templar and lv 30 dragon-knight. But for some reason I keep going back to my NB, why ? , it is because i put on most work on this character, and its my first really. cant ditch that XD.

Seriously ... you should do two things:

    1) Level your main character to VR14 and get some good equipment (Hundings Rage/Ashen Grip/Shadow Walker Jewelry).
    2) Learn the basics of your class by reading through the guides in this forum or in the Tamriel Foundry Forum.

Nightblade is a great class to play. Using the right equipment and skill combinations enables you to dish out tremendous amounts of damage in both, PvE and PvP.

I find it strange how everyone feels entitled to have it all "handed" to them.

First off, I have no problem on ANY vr1 character in Thornblade. Secondly it's not hard finding a crafter to make you the sets you need if you can't do it yourself. Third, it's not hard to level up.

If you honestly feel you cannot hold your own in group pvp with VR14's in the mix, something is wrong with your build, gear, and or playstyle. It's not the levels... that's just the scapegoat you are using.
I got killed in pvp, nerf everything...
