So apparently only 151-152 max after one week ....
What's going to be done for those who had the enlightment bug?? those that COULDN'T get 4 CP's a day for aslong as that lasted ???? those people are now left behind those hardcore tryhard grinders that are at 151-152, if not more by the time this is posted, caus they decided to nerf the grind spot, nerf the CP you get / enlightment ....
Fix this ***, you all say its not going to be a big deal right now, yea right, each point you pump in the system you get resources from, that means some could pump straight to a 120 point passive allready, which some are actually rly nice to have & put you ahead

Seriously though 81 pretty sad that ppl have twice my CP and I play quite frequently any plans to bring questing up to the level of grinding?
Or will we be forced to grind the same mobs over and over to remain competitive?
it's pointless at this point, since we don't get 4CP/enlightenment anymore, catching up is basically impossible now
4 CP of Enlightenment lasted for like 3 days. Don't forget it didn't even start until a couple of days after the patch. Big deal....so a ton of people got 9 CP worth of extra exp points.
1 Person made it to 152 and he did it legitimately. It really isn't all that surprising considering how many people have been gearing up for this grind. I wouldn't be surprised to see the stock price of Depends skyrocket since 1.6 came out.
I dont care one way or the other because there is NOTHING ZoS can do to rectify the bug they let into the live version. With that being said, there is a advantage to having that much more CP over someone. Stay in denial or dont. It is up to you. The fact remains that there is a advantage.

I never said nor implied that there wasn't an advantage. I'm not denying anything. I merely stated that a 9 CP difference in the big scheme of things is no big deal, especially after the first few hundred CPs are earned and the rewards in both stats and useful abilities are greatly diminished.
People getting hung up over this "Enlightenment Bug" are blowing it way out of proportion. 9 Champion points is 9 champion points. A day of grinding CP for some of us...no big deal at all.

4CP/ea day for "3" days, idk about my math but thats about 12 CP, not 9 ... it probably lasted for more than 3 days, but meh like someone else said, they won't do anything, and a gap has been made, so gg, system failed allready regardless of your point of view, since a bug did slip through and nothing was done about it, but now every grind spots nerfed allready

So earning an average of over 10 per day over the last 8 days hasn't exploited anything??? I haven't earned 10 total yet. Great that you nerfed everything tho so these people will have a constant advantage .
At 150 points you have barely 50 points in each charge, not enough to unlock even a full set of passives in one constellation. These people are still gaining power at full speed. Diminishing returns as you see them don't kick in unless you pour all points into one star, but the thing about the champion system is that you can put them in different stars - move on to new constellations after gaining your first 120 point passives and start unlocking new powers, again at full speed.kelly.medleyb14_ESO wrote: »Over 9000.

On the contrary. Because of the diminishing returns, each CP someone with 150+ gets is worth less than one you get at 81. While you may technically never overtake them, each "step" you take right now is bigger than theirs and you will close the gap if you earn CP at a fairly steady rate.
If the 4CP thing was still on, then for sure you would never catch up because they would benefit from it more than you.

And the reason why the Champion system is truly diminishing is because after the putting a good number of points into two abilities in each area you're either putting points into a secondary ability or you're maxing those two most useful abilities at greatly diminished returns. Then there is the fact that every additional 100 points put into each area gives you roughly half the stats of the prior 100 points put in. Look at the perks and the points once you get those best abilities and perks out of the way and they're all pretty lackluster.
My 100th CP for example increased my Non-Cyrodiil hardened ward by a breathtaking 28 points and increased my health by 12. Not exactly earth shattering and it only gets worse from here.
74
The first three days I tried to get CP on my VR14 without success.
Then I played few hours on my VR1 and got 4 CP
Its just not healthy for people to grind mindlessly 10h a day to gain a stupid advantage in a video game.
Zos you would be well advised for the benefit of some addicts to cap the max cp to some reasonable lvl. Really it would be a gesture of mercy.
(am serious.)

Yup and MANY of those who were tricked by the rumors were the exact same ones screaming at ZoS to further nerf Grinding, which they did, and now the process of leveling up a Veteran Character is made even worse (once you get to Craglorn) all because of bads on the Forums crying to ZoS because they thought someone was so far ahead of them in CP that they'd be OP. I'm not saying you did Magnus, but there were plenty of threads demanding ZoS nerf Skyreach instead of asking ZoS to fix the perma Enlightened bug.ZOS_JessicaFolsom wrote: »

OMG my head just exploded after reading that ppl will subject themselves to 18h of killing the same mobs over and over and over again. I'd say if they like it, be my guests. But with a competitive side to the game (especially PvP) it's not inconsequential to allow mindless grinding. I hope at least the diminishing returns from the Champion System will prevent too large a disparity between players.

Actually, you only have 70. Nice try, though.
Hang in there, it goes pretty fast actually if you just focus on the main story line quests that kill molag. No need to rush unless you want to of course.Zero, Null, Nada
I am only L45 so far (started playing december 2014).
I dont think i will ever get any cp... since i hate Colharbor.
Hehe, ty. Played to much this weekend to get to Coldharbour i think, so when i got there on sunday it just felt dark and lonely. I dont rush and enjoy the story and also craft in betwen all the gear, weps and food that i use.
I have no intention of compleating Coldharbor before L50.
I am a bit worried about rumors that it has been harder to level the vet-ranks after 1.6 though.
Coldharbour is an interesting place. The other zones pretty much guide you through the zone in a Point A -> Point B -> Point C kind of way.
Coldharbor is more like "go forth and find quests" and it's easy to get lost there the first time.
The longest it took me to get through was on my second character, because I was having so much fun running around with my main and she was getting close to V14.
But I imposed a barrier on my alt that she could only go to Craglorn after she beat Molag Bal, and that helped.
Now I have a third toon starting Coldharbor and I know my way around.
I assume your character is in AD? If you were EP (and NA, of course) I'd be happy to clear it with you. My AD toons are lowbies (though probably next in line for leveling).

I play in AD on european server. Had fun last night doing a solo dungeon and then some quests. I am now supposed to fetch some eggs or something for some snake woman. This will, i assume, lead me to rescue one of the two i am supposed to rescue in main quest (save hollow city). Reached L46 last night.
Also takes the time to gather whatever i run into.
