The thing i think alot of you are missing is, he is a tank. He isnt trying to dps them and tank them at the same time. He isnt trying to 1vX like it was possible in 1.5. 44k health + hard cap armour/spell res means you spec very very little into anything else. If he cant tank 3 people at the same time, then whats the point of speccing into being a tank? 3 people is nothing when you look at zerg numbers. Tanks should be able to comfortably tank 3-5 people.
With my current set up, i am able to decrease the amount of damage (single target) done to me by 78%. That means, if 3 sorcs hit me with 3 crystal frags full buffed, it would hardly do the damage of a radiant destruction. If 3 snipers, sniped me at the same time, it wouldnt do the damage. etc.
Correct me if i am wrong (coz i havent tested, just read this) but radiant destruction isnt blockable and imo, thats where i believe lies the biggest issue with this skill. secondary to that is when it starts scaling (i would suggest 35-40%).
