The issue now is the value is too low to pay off your bounty. Killing 1 npc = about 1k Bounty. You can sell items for 100 gold if green. at first you only get 50 things to sell a day. That equals 5k a day. If you go above that amount you are in trouble. On test last week I got a bounty to 20k pretty easly. The amount should go up maybe like 300 gold. On test last week it was about 500 gold for a green item.

awe man that sucks. I figured supplementing my income with stealing would get me out of Cyrodiil.

    I hope they revert this.

my guess is that the stolen items generated too much new gold into the world pr day pr player/character?.

though, those numbers seems a bit low now compared to the bounty you earn.

If you're worried about paying off a high bounty then you're doing it wrong. The point is to NOT get caught. Also the devs stated from the onset that the prices would be lowered before update 6 went live. It wasn't news to those of us that pay attention. I am baffled anybody thought the sale value was not heavily inflated. The amount of potential gold at those prices would have been too attractive to pass up and everyone would want to be a thief.

Bounty is a penalty for being a bad thief, if you don't get caught, no bounty. Murderers of npcs will basically have to live as exiles until the bounty naturally reduces...

The issue you cant use a bank with a bounty...Maybe make a bank in the refuge and some crafting stations. That way you could live outside the city.

Then what is the actual penalty for having a high bounty? There is no point in going to town if the outlaw refuge has everything beneficial a town does.

There is a least three set crafting stations outside cities in every zone already you don't have to worry about deconstruction or craft in city just going to need huge inventory and a pack mule to live in the wild.

I suggest adding a booster that will increase the value of said items. This can be purchased of the crown store for a measly 300 crowns, like a convenience item of course.

No it wasn't. The highest Green item iirc was 299g. Blue items were in the 375-750g range. Purple items were in the 999-2999g range. Check here and you can see a large list of pricing of items via 1.6 testing. The reduction of value in 1.6.1 was expected and it's fine really. Your first point in Trafficker dramatically increases your daily Fence limit. At a rough average value of 150g/ea (mix of Green/Blue to Fence) you could easily make 16K/day by Legerdemain LvL 3 (which can be gotten day 1 easily). If that's not enough gold/day to justify the system then maybe you shouldn't kill so many Citizens?

A possible way around the current bounties may be to buy items with COD from other players. If someone cods an item for 10k and you collect 10k by killing npcs and stealing items you get the item when you pay for it and never lose it. Now when you get killed by guards they cant collect the bounty but your wanted level will decrease. I dont know if the bounty can take gold out of the bank but I assume it doesnt. None of this is tested btw, just something that came to mind when I was killing and robbing npcs.
