Stop Being Selfish

It is common for people who dislike something to write about that dislike than it is for someone who likes something to write about what they like. It is a very common occurrence. The people trying to provide legitimate feedback do so in game. The forums are where everyone comes to rant. Also, people can say what they want about ZOS but overall they have listened to the community much better than other games and adapt to what we like. Go back to problems in the beginning and then look at all the patch notes thourgh the history of the game if you dont believe me. Moreover, as to the comment that it is the game is a joke in the gaming world is ridiculous. If it is then why are people still playing? Why are so many still playing? Additionally, yes sage did say they would track the points. However, we do not know how big of a task this was and perhaps they did not at the time. He also said that some would be happy with the amount of points they get and pthers would be unhappy. Sounds like they stuck to that. Why do you think I stopped questing as soon as he said that.
As to the point of the forum. I agree. There are a lot of people hating out there but there are cases in which it is justified and others were people just dont like the change b/c they got so used to a single way of doing it and now need to adapt. The community asked for this change and ZOS adapted just like we now need to adapt to this change. Furthermore, IT IS THE FIRST WEEK ON THE PTS! CHILL OUT EVERYONE! THis will be on the PTS for a few weeks and they are listening to us. For instance, they understand that they need to do something different with the drinks. This is a work in progress and tearing each other apart over crazy arguments will not help. Nor will people saying unhelpful things. For instance, "my build sucks", "why did you change my ability", I cant do this or that without providing any substantial feedback. If you have a problem explain what the problem is. Just saying "i dont like it" will get you ignored. WHy dont you like it? is there a reason beyond i dont want to adapt?
IMO everyone needs to take a step back and realize HELPFUL feedback and testing is what will make this work properly when it goes live. There are still weeks until that happens.

I am not defending or bashing anybody with this post despite me having a very strong, deadset opinion on the state of things and people freaking out one way or another.

I just want to point out with this post that when you post an opinion, it's one thing on it's own, i.e Man 1.6 is great or man 1.6 is ***. When you want to that opinion to be heard and taken seriously however, both sides, and this is important now, must give detailed evidence supporting their opinion and therefore argument so it will be taken seriously by all parties involved, which are more numerous than some might think.

To the people that think 1.6 is great, keep in mind ZoS reads those reviews and go "Great, they like it. But what exactly do they like about it? Everything? Well *** it, let's keep doing random *** in hopes they like it since they seem to like everything."

That is bad, because nothing is ever perfect and that lax, complacent behavior leads to bad programming and content and a bad game. For shame.

To the people that think 1.6 is ***, keep in mind stomping your feet and screaming that it's bad doesn't do anything. In fact, things are substantially more stacked against you to make a good, strong argument. You're the ones that need to sit there and write up detailed reports and comparison charts as to why you feel that you are being cheated, robbed, overnerfed, whatever you say is happening to you.

    But,

    And this is important now,

Don't give those detailed reports and comparisons without thinking more openly about the entire picture, the big picture.

Don't compare only two skills from each other, old and new, and say why it's bad, not when those skills may have been adapted and changed to fit an entirely new meta. Don't complain that your stats have been lowered and robbed from you while not realizing that everything in the game has been given similar treatment, and always try to understand the mindset and reasoning behind the Developers decisions, even if they seem to be completely psychotic. And then think about what you're saying, think on whether or not it's true in the grand scheme of things.

For example, I've seen more than a few Dragonknights claim that their entire class and builds have been ruined, when in truth the content simply got a little harder and they themselves have to change things around a bit, but they didn't take the time to do so. As these select few whine and complain, a few Sorcerers take the time to actually sit and theorycraft entirely, all putting in effort and time to figure out what's best only to learn that they are indeed really freaking screwed, and actually have something to complain about.

Templar's used to be in the same boat, and it's sort of why it took so damn long to get fixed because there would constantly be two sets of people complaining; the ones who did it out of spite, and the one's who put in the time to figure *** out.

So I ask you again, just leave out the hyperbole and fear and spite, and make honest reviews and opinions.
Bobbity Boop, this game might become poop, but I'll still play because I'm just a pile of goop!

I like the fact that the sooner 1.6 is on the servers the sooner I can play the game again. Right now I feel like any progress will be wasted. Im already to the point of having 70 CP so I cant earn anymore right now. Any new characters will miss the new experience for them. I have only 1 slot left at the moment anyways. So get on with it. Been far too long already waiting on this.

I believe one of the issues being complained about, is that even if someone ever manages to max out the CP system, they still won't be back to where they were 1.5.

I was surprised that I can still use all may same skills between live and PTS. I do have to use them somewhat differently, but the PTS character doesn't die quite as often.

I largely agree with you OP. I have no problem with people voicing their complaints, but the absurd amount of over the top hyperbole in the PTS forum is extremely annoying/laughable and undermines any legitimate complaints someone might have, IMO.

People who say things like "my end-game gear is completely useless", or " my class is so bad ZOS should just delete it", etc. Aren't to be taken seriously in my book, there is nothing informative or useful in those types of statements and you can bet the devs don't see them as meaningful feedback.
