Now the question is, what about accidental aid. If I fire off restoring aura, and a fugitive crosses my field of effect, am I dead meat? And what about the auto passive boost to ally they introduced?
Wow, that's actually worse. Good job finding that out. I know the first thing 1.6.1 is going to need to address for the justice system.driosketch wrote: »This was someting I was wondering about. Looks like aiding and abetting a criminal earns you a death sentence.

Well that is what I am saying happened to me. I was a ways off from any of the NPCs and other players specifically to do my own thing and avoid anyone getting an aura, but when one was just walking by behind me ( that I did not initially see...) she got the aura heal and came over and killed me. I suspect if you hit an NPC with your heals or a fugitive it was pursuing, whether on purpose or not... seems all bets are off.

I hope they leave it in. As Guards dont need heals youll just have to make sure youre not wildly throwing heals and attacks in an area where guards and citizens frequent.
Actually the guards kill you even if you just throw a heal on them as apparently it is considered an attack. I was throwing out some heals to see the numbers I got on crits and one flew off to a guard passing by I had not even targeted and he came over to kill me. Nice one :P
City Guards are the new Trial bosses. I haven't seen one killed yet, even with a dozen players on a single Guard, it's awesome.
