My DK tank takes advantage of the medium armor active and ember explosion (dual wield) to stack miss/dodge chance. Also use Ash Cloud, but you obviously won't have that. Evasion skills help a lot with tanking, though some might disagree in favor of other skills.

Thanks for the info. Wish I had seen it before they fixed it.

I've moved from swords with siphoning strikes to axes on my DW bar with poison enchant plus siphoning strikes and overall resource management is MUCH easier.

The only thing I truly miss is an oh sh... button such as GDB.

And NB's will never compete in that category Tanking wise, but if you are a Vampire you can get close (just not as often) with Devouring Swarm + Block-casting Sap Essence. Even in a ST fight it'll regen a ton of Health in a short period of time. The other option is putting Alchemist Glyphs on all your Jewelry for either 5s faster CD (which I do) or +132 Potion effect. Since NB gets +30% Potions to begin with, and if you happen to be Argonian you can see massive boosts via Tri-pots.

Already a WW for the sta regen and ulti gain passives. As for the enchants on the jewellery, that's a good idea however the current ones, shield play from footman's, seems just too good to pass

Question for you, if you don't mind. Have you completed any trials? I've done all vet dungeons with no major problems, but trials seems to be a completely different beast. From the videos and streams I've seen the utility provided by dk skills while tanking seem to make or break the run.

NB's almost never have any Stamina issues so the Bash enchant that's on the Footman Jewelry is almost irrelevant. I personally only have Stamina issues on the Praxin fight but that can even be worked around using Evil Hunter. Yes I have completed both AA/HR but I haven't been in SO yet. I have odd play times (usually late night) regularly so am not always available when my Guild runs Trials, which tends to be evenings. Being a DK Tank or not for AA/HR literally makes zero difference in the completion times, DPS and competency of Healers is all that matters, and having VoB/Negate when it's needed.

WW is a good thing to have for ALL Tanks, I'm a Vampire but not because of Tanking. If I could have the sneak bonus without being a Vampire (and without having to gear for it) then I'd go back to WW also, which was what I built my NB for at launch.
