80 Slots of Ingredients and nothing I need for the first Provisioning Writ

Sheesh, first writ and I don't have 75% of the ingredients needed. I spent an hour looking for them in containers, vendors and guild stores and no joy.* So, I abandoned the Writ.

My question is, if I get another writ, will it be for the same things or will it be for different foods?

*In case anyone wonders why we collect materials for things we are not making yet, the first rule is, as soon as you need to make something specific, the game will hide those materials from you if you are looking for them. But, you will trip over them prior to the specific needs.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Do you mean if you retake the writ the same day or the next day? The next day it will probably be different, but they repeat quite often.

    Which ingredients do you need?

Welcome to crafting Writs! ...Just wait until you get that hard-earned reward for putting together those materials. ;)
It's hits or miss on getting a different writ if you abandon it.

Bervez Fruit but I bought a stack for 250 Gold, of course the next store had 1 for 2 Gold...So if you need any let me know
Imperial Flour 5 Grocers and could not find any
    Golden Malt

    I had the Honey.

When my mule runs out of space, prior to this I would destroy the drink ingredients as I prefer the food effects. I now know this is going to come back and nibble on my behind for the foreseeable future. Like I had destroyed a stack of Bervez Fruit just this week too. Grrr.

Definitely going to spend some coin on bag upgrades for the Provisioning Mule, I thought 80 would be enough as that is all he carries.

The grocer in Belkarth should have Imperial Flour and Golden Malt. You'll also get them as a reward for writs, so don't stock up.

I had trouble with Bervez Fruit too (and for the same reason), but I always could find one or two just by quickly searching containers in Belkarth - which was enough for a few days, as I can make four servings at once and the writs asked only for one. I'd gladly take some off your hands, but I need them on EU and I guess you're NA?

That was one place I did not look, I will try that when I get home from work.

Yes, NA Server for me, otherwise I would send you the rest of my stack just for pointing me in the right direction.

Definitely taking the Provisioning Mule to 100 Bag Spaces.....

I use the ZAM Notebook to organize writs. You can "link to chat" the ingredients, highlight the 2 in the edit box, copy/paste it into the Notebook. Although my example screenie doesn't show it at that step. I'll admit I have access to a guild bank where only a handful of us still log in. I put all the common ingredients there and hold on to the valuables in my own bank: the Tier 2 & 3's and some key Secondary's.

Just like separating activities because of inventory limitations, I'm taking a break from writs until I get more of the Dwemer Motif's done.

Hopefully the provisioning revamp will do something about the amount of space cooking takes up.

Ourorboros, just outside belkarth tavern/inn at that fountain/circle square.

Also OP, I find that the provisioning writs tend to recycle the mats needed to make the stuff. On top of what you can already get from grocers (and prov writ rewards) - golden malt, pinguis, imperial mash, imperial flour, imperial stock, emperor grapes, they usually at least use Bervez fruit and honey comb. Keep in mind this concerns max provisioning writ quests. still collecting info though

Thanks, @Qyrk. Not sure how I missed him before, actually stumbled into him shortly after I posted, LOL. :p

My god. I have started selling my stacks of Bervez fruit for 120g a stack. Myself and my guild had close to ten stacks stored up and I needed to make some space.
I have reprogrammed my loot filters to make sure I dont pick up anymore.
Not as annoying as Jazbay grapes (non-piquant) but still quite annoying.

BTW: Get some of those Jazbay grapes as well. Either of the drink fruits can come up in the vet5 writ. Bervez Fruit, Jazbay Grapes, Honey Comb plus Pinguis, Imperial Stock, Imperial Flour, Golden Malt, Emperor Grapes and Imperial Mash (last six available from Vet zone grocers and Cicero in Coldharbor)

Farming Rule Number 1 is in full effect. Now that I don't need them, they are in every 4th container in the game.

I swear this game has an AI that determines what you are looking for and removes that item from the game.
