^that there is what i was talking about. You can spam a cast time ability as long as thats all you use. The only thing is the animations are too slow for the cast time in most cases. But the animation after the attack is actually released can be interrupted

Problem with this is the Morph that allow the next atk to do more damage only applies to an attack other than Uppercuts/Wrecking blow.

We can confirm that the cast time for Uppercut is 0.8 seconds; this is measured from the time you cast Uppercut to the time it hits your target. That said, there is a small cooldown that gets applied to a number of abilities with a cast time (such as this one). In this case, the cooldown is 0.4 seconds, which is why it appears like the cast time is 1.2 seconds.

    Hope that helps!

I suppose it wouldn't be a problem if there was a way to clip it, like with heavy attack (the ability bonus and passive Follow Up pretty much indicate this is intended for the build). But we cannot. So why confuse people and not simply admit its 1.2 sec cast?

I think what it really is is the animation is 1.2s long. The cast time is still 0.8 seconds. They just don't seem to be able to speed up animations, and is why they are systematically getting rid of attack speed bonuses.

You dont get it dude, if the animation is 1.2sec and only way to clip it is block, than the ability is 1.2sec cast no matter what tooltip says

Pls dont get me started on speed bonuses since the NB Haste has been forgotten again

The ability cast is 1.2sec, period. If ZOS wants it to be 0.8 it needs to be fixed, if not, tooltip needs to be fixed, there is no point why players should be confused (or lied to)

And its still going to be .2 seconds faster than when it had "1 second" cast time. Did anyone ever talk about this when it had "1 second" cast time, or was it mostly a non-issue except for those like me who have been wanting its cast time reduced?
