what are getting done about the idiots in upper craglorn or other places for that matter?

often when farming upper craglorn if i stand on top of a resource fighting the mobs thats close to it some idiot comes up and steal the damn resource i been reporting a few of them and wondering is it just a waste of time?
will they actually get any kind of punishment for ruining my game experince since its from my viewpoint at least is breaking tos?
or is the solution to let *** like that ruin the game for everyone else?

i was there first but was busy killing the monsters that was close to it and yes its breaking the tos since it ruing my gaming experince that such *** run around there picking the loot that i'm fighting for

well you better change it then cause its not only me that are getting pissed off at this kinda behaviour and some have alrdy quitted the game cause of such things and more will probably come now that you are saying clearly that its not illegal to do so either. Really pondering if i should bother to keep this game for long i dont wanna pay a sub to be surrounded with that kind of people ruining my gaming experience3

ThisOnePosts✭✭✭✭✭Follow them and return the favor. That's what I do. Move in like you are about to aggro then stop, let them aggro and watch as they get killed. If they are doing well, bring over some more mobs ASAP.
This shouldn't be a common thing btw. I rarely have run into this and I have a few maxed out characters and farm Upper Craglorn regularly.
And no this shouldn't be against TOS, imagine the he-said/she-said accusations that could spawn from it. Just return the favor and teach them a lesson. That should get the point across. ✭Been in upper Crag a few times farming for the trait stones, got robbed 3 times so far, while clearing a pack of angry bees lol. It's nothing I'm especially mad about really, it's normal procedure in MMORPG's. I actually get it. Maybe I was trespassing, the so-called "thief" had a digging route. I just happen to get there a few seconds earlier.
But pretty please ZoS, how about harvesting Nirnhoned in lower Craglorn as well? Would reduce a lot of drama and fighting for resources. Having such limited amount of nodes v.s. unlimited amount of needy players, that creates frustration and bad behaviour.0 -
well for me its simple i dislike such behaviours and if its gonna stay legal to act that way and steal from players who actually bother to attack monsters to get the resource i probably will cancel my subscription i'm not paying monthly fee for that kinda of bs

well for your information eso was supposed be diffrent from other mmo and just that part was one of the things that convinced me about it since they way i did read tos it seems like they actually would do something about such idiots.

✭✭Totally get why this is annoying but ZOS cannot police tossers, which is why you either figure a way to grief them back or you let is wash over you and move on.
To be fair a lot of your specific problem is the rather peculiar decisons made by ZOS around the 9th trait. Not seem many people saying they like it yet....0 -
the problem has been there all the time the nirncrux just made it extremly visible. the problem alwys been there with chests and other things to its just a bit easier to give a damn then.

You can't expect ZOS to be banning someone because you said you beat them to a node, when they can say the same thing about you if they wish. Just learn to live with it, I promise you it's not better in other MMOs, many are even worse about such behavior (since the ESO community is more mature then your standard MMO has).Semi retired from the trading aspects of the game.0 -
i can expect them to do something like not letting stuff be lootable when fighting occurs around it for once, and to actually make it illegal might discourage at least a few from doing it,also if 1 person get reported by several players for doing it would also give them a good idea that player might need a lesson in how not to act.
