ESO Trophies Guide

This guide governs Trophies as they exist in the Elder Scrolls Online (ESO); currently this guide is a work in progress. If you have information, questions, or the like, please reply with them to this thread.

Trophy/Trophies
Trophies are in-game items in ESO, labeled as a Trophy. In addition to the label of Trophy, trophy items are generally identifiable as they posses unique visual traits wholly segregate from typical items; such as animations.
Examples
Lena's Wand of Finding, a weapon, and a Trophy item received at the end of the Shad Astula quest (Ebonheart Pact). You can see it in action here:

How do you actually use Lena's Wand of Finding though? I still haven't found the correct way to use it.

Yeah the other day I got a bear trap trophy and all it seemed to be good for was taking up an inventory slot and otherwise useless so I destroyed it. It would be nice if Zenimax could give a bit more information in the mouse over pop-up that tells you exactly what the trophy is good for and how to use it.

I got the same one lol. I think we should have a separate section in our Inventory for Trophies in the same way we have a separate section for quest items; and like quest items I don't think they should take up space.

Bear trap trophy actually can be set as a trap. Dunno if it actually traps anything, but you can set it on the ground by using it in inventory, and it puts a visible bear trap in front of you.

I set the bear trap and pulled a bear into it...nothing happened. Mega-fail

I've destroyed at least a dozen trophies by now. No visual effect is work one of my precious inventory slots.

create an alt and give it to them. Maybe someday you'll be able to put these trophies in a player house.

Anyone know how to use this or is it broken?

UPDATE: nvm, I got it. Point it at a basic critter, rats, rabbits, etc. Get red lightning and poof of feathers. Instantly kills them though so there are no fishing supplies to loot.
