Hello All,
This is my first time starting a post and bearing in mind that English is not my first language, I hope you can forgive me for any grammatical errors.
I have been playing ESO since BETA and noticed a few outstanding issues that await a fix from ZOS (or have yet to be noticed by the game developers). So I hope with this thread, other players can confirm my findings and contribute to this thread in a constructive manner.
Dual Wield Enchant Proc Rate:
Read from other threads and confirmed with self testing that enchant procs occur every 6 seconds and the Powered Trait reduces this to about 3 seconds.
I enchanted both VR12 daggers with VR12 Legendary quality "Unresistable damage" enchants and discovered that enchantment procs DID NOT occur as expected and instead occurred every 4-5 seconds on average.
This may have been a misunderstanding on my part and similar enchants perhaps shared the same cooldown duration. Therefore, I enchanted one of the daggers with a VR12 Legendary "Poison damage" enchant resulting in two different enchants on each dagger.
After a sample of 60 - 70 hits using light, heavy attacks as well as weapon ability (namely "Flying Blade"), the enchant procs occurred more often, approximately once every 3 seconds but not evenly. On average, out of ten Poison damage procs occurring, only two would be Unresistable damage. Shouldn't the two different enchants proc occur at roughly equal chance and frequency?
Torug's Pact Set Bonus:
Crafted a complete VR12 Torug's Pact set (legendary quality on all pieces).
Tested "Unresistable damage" VR12 legendary enchant + Powered Trait on Bow of Torug's Pact (which further reduces proc by another 1 second, and increases enchantment potency by 30%). So in theory, this should result in proc damage occurring every two seconds with the complete set equipped.
After a sample of 30 - 40 shots from the bow, enchant proc occurred on average, every 4 seconds and not every two seconds as theorized above. It seems that the stated reduction by 1 second of enchantment cooldown did not happen, or the Powered Trait was not functioning.
The stated increase of 30% enchantment potency from Torug's Pact fifth Set bonus was non-existent (unresistable damage enchant value remained at 36 dmg instead of 36dmg + 30% of that value). This leads me to conclude somehow, that ZOS needs to take a look and test whether the above findings are in need of further fixing.
Piercing Mark:
Both in PVE and PVP, there have been instances where the animation would happen but the effect was not applied to the target, hence having to do this two or three times before the Mark was applied. In fast paced PVP skirmishes, this is a serious disadvantage for Nightblades. In addition, there have also been relatively rare instances whereby Marked Targets could not be attacked by Class Skills / Weapon Skills and therefore have to be attacked using normal light / heavy attacks.
Concealed Weapon:
Skill states a passive speed bonus of 25% while in stealth. I discovered this was not always the case and I had to break stealth and re-enter it for this to function properly for a certain period of time before the passive bonus disappears again. Was this intentional so we have to break stealth every once in a while to maintain this passive bonus, or is this something that ZOS is still looking into?
Caltrops:
Something to do (again) with stealth. Whenever I deploy caltrops and enemies walk into this area / incur damage from this, I immediately break stealth even though I am completely hidden and not moving.
For example, I am hidden on top of a keep's outer wall and deploy caltrops outside the walls and return to my hidden state. Enemies walk into this area and all of a sudden I am no longer hidden when they incur damage from the caltrops. Bear in mind that I was merely watching and did not attack or break stealth intentionally. I believe this still needs to be looked into.
Multiple Instant Damage from Enemy Skills:
In PVP I have come across enemies that are able to unleash multiple Class Skills within a very short time frame (example: 5 Class Skills hitting me simultaneously within ONE SECOND from a single enemy player and killing me on the spot before I realize I was attacked in the first place). I am not sure if they are using some sort of hack / exploit. I pondered upon the possibility of my internet connection being unstable (lag client side) but this is unlikely because other players around me were moving and fighting normally.
I would appreciate it if others could comment on the above and hopefully someone from ZOS takes notice so we can all contribute to making ESO better and better for everyone. Thank you and I look forward to your comments.
