    400 health absorbed/sec in 8 seconds means 3k2 damage + heal. I don't remember it being so strong.

    But I may be mistaken..in that case, never mind, I just found my new favorite ultimate :)

    umm what does the swarm, what hit 350 (can be even 550 dmg lolzeni) per tick? over all damage and heal? Tell me pls.

    Ps.: you can move out of swarm... fail you cant, because caster following you lawl.

    The Ultimates will scale with Weapon Power/Stamina as well now if those stats are higher than Magicka/Spell Power. Since Weapon Power has a much higher cap than Spell Power, the Weapon Power builds will have Ultimates hit harder than their Magicka sibling. Honestly, it's about time Stamina builds get some loving.

    This is new. It is the effect of the change they made on ulties to scale off weapon damage and max stamina in some cases.

    It was reported on PTS by a few people a while ago. Same thing was reported for Magma Armour but that was addressed (it's even in the Patch Notes).

    Wheeler says they're looking into it which makes me think it was unintended but unless they say something more specific we can't be sure.

    Correct, but I disagree.

    The whole point of the change was that stamina builds did not have inferior ultie damage to magicka builds. the point was to bring ulti dmg on a par. This change has gone of course too far the other way and certain ulties do insane dmg for Stamina builds disproportionate to the target's HP.

    This of course means the Time-to-Kill (TTK) in Cyrodill has collapsed, making it a frag-fest atm. No one in their right mind would say this is welcome change and support it as a permanent state.

    This is an Ultimate, it is supposed to be powerful and I can't exactly spam it, but these numbers seem crazy high. I was soloing overworld bosses with my NB yesterday. At first, it was a nice change from before, but seriously, this does not look like a "slow and careful rebalancing". Something is not right with this patch.

    An 8000+ HP overworld boss should not go down in 10 seconds from me alone attacking it just because I drop an Ultimate. Or is this what other classes have been experiencing all along? If so, I can fully understand why people who don't play an NB or a Templar have been crying over the nerf to VR difficulty.

    I never thought I would say this, but yesterday, my NB felt overpowered. However, I am still only in the VR2 area, and I have gotten used to feeling like I hit mobs and bosses with a wet rag, so perhaps this is as it should be. I don't know. All I know is I am going to kick some ass tonight in PvE.

    NO, its not,

    For Sorc, Atronach does 5.5 k damage over 28 seconds. Powerlord does 5.5k damage over 15 second (when cast continuously).

    For Temp, Solar Barrage does probably 2-2.5k damage over 8 seconds.

    I think all the NB crys got what they wanted, an unbalanced buff to NB by clueless devs.

    instead it screws people like me who always end up with a higher weapon damage than spell damage, but have low stamina.

    I hate i win ultimates in pvp .... please cut the damage to them in pvp..or make them much harder to build up....

    This is a good change, my Sorc has, well used to have, a powerful Ultimate, my DK had a powerful Ultimate, now my NB has a powerful Ultimate.

    Prior to this I had nothing to really take down Bosses with other than hoping they had a large room to run backwards in while popping off arrows, hoping they did not have a regen scheme. Now, I can take on Bosses solo.
    Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

    They nerfed the other NB ultimate that was powerful (removed crit ability) so expect this to be fixed soon. I will be using it until then however.

    Soul Tether is completely OP in PVP...WTF...Ive been getting hit with MASSIVE amounts of damage from this skill. Look at that screenshot above..3k? Lmao. We need someone from ZoS to comment about this. Im tired of getting one shot from this ability.

    Force weapon swap to have priority over EVERYTHING. Close enough.
    Make stamina builds even with magicka builds.
    Disable abilities while holding block.
    Give us a REASON to do dungeons more than once.
    Remove PVP AoE CAP. It is ruining Cyrodiil.
    Fix/Remove Forward Camps. They are ruining Cyrodiil.
    Impenetrability needs to REDUCE CRIT DAMAGE. Not negate entire builds.
    Werewolf is not equal to Vamps/Bats.

    This SO much fun while it lasts (have a vr3 NB Alt) and while some areas needs buffs (maybe not so much buffs as simply bug fixes) this is neither real fun in the long term for either target nor caster. But in the next few days I will be wtfpwn DKs :)

    So +1 for nightblades they have one ability that scales properly. It wouldn't seem so over the top if we were not broken from the beginning!

    You know in pvp stats are bugged atm and players are getting unlimited weapon damage buffs right? If you use soul tether on a pve mob (not in cyrodiil) it will not do near that amount of damage even on a crit.

    +1 Insightful. This is a bit more involved than I was aware of. If that is the case, then they need to fix it. It shouldnt be pulling from all stats. Also, the video of the guy hitting Dark Flare for 9k damage+. Looks like we know what they broke this time around.

    Just to make it clear: those 8000 HP were not stolen by the Ultimate alone. I was of course whittling away at my slow but steady ~300 DPS at the same time, with an initial Snipe critical for 700 and the odd critical after that. The Soul Tether itself did 3500 damage over 8 seconds, so it's not ridiculously overpowered. Still a bit high, though, and definitely not a careful, balanced change.

    Anyway, I need to get back to the slaughtering. :)
