yes and I'm sure when you kill me and get the less than 100 ticks of ap while in your big raid squads it might add up to one of my ticks I get from one of you by the end of the day.Warz you are killed so often we have guys asking that you have a loot table added to you and your group...

It's a high risk, high reward tactic that only works if the groups are super stacked up, but yes I know what you are talking about.
edit: doesn't mean I don't find it cheesy and generally not useful for anything but AP.

Well, in the end, AP, some monetary rewards, and the titles / skill lines we've earned are the only things we take into the next campaign.

Somebody has to gauge numbers for the team.
Turns out they were a bit too big last night.
With no punishment of death, why do you think Id care about dying?
This is more for @Halrloprillalar --
If Fengrush, Draq, and Overnuke are in a three man team and you're in a giant scroll zerg of say one organized 24 man raid and 20 randoms, no matter how few they kill, they're making more AP than you unless they literally kill no one.
Knowing those three, they can get some kills.
They charge you five times each from a tent and die -- 1) you guys only get AP from the first death due to diminishing returns, 2) if they kill, say 5-6 of the randoms (not even the organized guys) they're ahead in AP gains - by a lot.
Also, if this raid happens to be ANYWHERE near blue territory, you've been slowed down to kill these three and take down their tent. That gives the full blue zerg time to catch you.
The question becomes -- Why SHOULDN'T they suicide zerg your scroll raid?
Thank you for pointing out all the pros to these actions. Most of the times if AD is running a scroll, the numbers are absolutely insane. (60-100+)
If theyre not, we will try to slow it down and take part in the fight.
The AP system is screwed up as is and yes, we will virtually always make out on the beneficial side of it until they revisit a lot of their basic mechanics for Cyrodill. (AP, emp, so many other things). Part of the reason I cant help but laugh when that other AD tries to insult me for jumping in a red vs. yellow fight by myself and dishing out aoe everywhere while nearly 8 of their 15 people are waiting in sneak just to single target me and then make forum posts how they owned me.
But we still do take place in plenty of relevant events on the map. Only started defending/distracting backline points since Ive got a few more folks in my group. Much success has been had in that regard. When were needed, we can move faster than most any other group. I really dislike the cat and mouse of Cyrodill though. I enjoy multi-fronted strategy, but a lot of people are just ignoring the real fights and blitz siegeing an undefended keep and drawing the fight to them on defense. Kind of like when AD brought that 100+ people to Ash last night and decided to leave once EP showed up because uh oh, theres a fight here, and we do better when odds roll somewhere between 10:1 and 25:1. Given how screwy camps and gaurds are in their current state though, its hard to blame people during prime time. Until then, we will play in such a manner that still brings enjoyment to the PvP spectrum.
Dont worry though, @ZOS_BrianWheeler is addressing the issue of oils being used on the ground instead of poured from above. Im sure this other stuff can wait.
EDIT: And oil pots are fine.
Defending keeps when able/available? Check. Attempting to defend scrolls while AD guy talks trash for me defending scrolls despite the fact that hes going alone at 60-100 people? Check. Having the testicular fortitude to jump into any fight regardless of knowing the chances of being alive at the end of it? Check. Maybe just....winning the campaign? Check.

Theres not much risk and as long as they are engaged, not an issue for me.
Aint nothing cheesy about getting that AP. What else is there to concern myself with in the current scenario? Defending keeps when able/available? Check. Agree completely, especially given the advantages to larger groups and AOE caps.

He disagrees itd seem. I expect a swift and broken solution to be instituted within the next 4 weeks, which is pretty fast turn around. 50/50 oil bugs out and doesnt deal damage and requires an additional 4 week turnaround to hotfix the issue.
In short, theres more important issues that deserves responses in this forum section from the PvP team lead.

Isn't that what all of FENGRUSH and his group does is push one button aside from their ults? DK spams scales, sorcs spam streak, templars spam eclipse...so I guess that's what people are calling skill nowadays?

A +35% damage Crystal Frags crit to the face of a sorc is pure hilarity.

Lol. I wish I could switch a skill out on one of my two bars. Theyve pretty much been locked in place for awhile now. Need all 10 and use all 10 every fight.

I would imagine everyone makes use of both of their bars to the fullest. People talk a lot about trying to trade things out and how to fit in utility skills between people.
Sorc* is more appropriate, Im the only one. Still searching for more top tier sorc players!

I know you love negate and all but I'm sure you also know about our secret third bar, which you could still get with a negate on the other.

Konishiki is probably the best sorc on EP, imo. I'd even say he's the best player in my guild.
Sorcs are one of those 'high ceiling, low floors' classes. It's REALLY easy to suck with them. But if you are good, and can perform at a high level, you can be absolutely amazing.

I also want to mention -- Your team is a hard puzzle to unlock and figure out how to beat every time consistently. You make us work for it when we do, and revisit ourselves when we fail.
It's nice to have a good team on the server to test ourselves against. It's also been making us rethink builds, because frankly, I loathe the current zergball pain train meta and where it is possibly leading us. We do it because it's effective. It's fun to run over masses of people, but when it's organized groups it's all about ambush tactics and who hits whom first.
I think your team is on to something when it comes to breaking that pain train meta. I might get re-bitten and try out what I can do with what I see you guys doing. Take that as the compliment it is.
(if you don't remember, I think I was the only batswarmer BT EP had back in the days of Wild Fire's reign)

Thanks man, you give something to look out for as well. Like I said earlier Ive just recently got some new people, and we dont play as well as Id like all the time. I consider them all very good players and that gets people into trouble when they feel that way as well!
Hope to get things together, and get my boy tuggles back next week, hes on vacation!
