I have a crew from Malaysia that play with my daylight crew. I have a few other that play from Australia and one from Japan. The difference between me re-capping all my home keeps back - every single day - and then pushing to get a couple scrolls so we don't lose ground on the scoreboard - and you guys turning everything red - leaving your opponents with zero points - is pretty significant.

We poked blue a little too hard capping them all the way to their gates yesterday. I knew this was going to happen.

The fact we have somehow held on to four of the six home keeps is amazing given the raw numbers both DC and EP have had all night, all of them hitting us, often simultaneously.

And yeah Bit, that was one insane push out of Fare, we got most of the way to Roe before we realized Eros' group had finally released without a local camp.

As much as I wanted to rez at roe to help my team, I accepted a rez near faregyl. Just in time to tell my buds that were seiging roe: Holy Banana's Batman! it's a yellow sea and it's heading your way!

Sorry Barnabas... I misunderstood. I thought we are branded as "nightcappers" merely because we play while you guys are sleeping. Not our fault really because we live in the opposite side of the globe.

So, what you are really complaining is because EP turn the map red? Sorry but there is nothing really I can do about that because I am just one insignificant Asian EP soldier who dies more than I can kill.

I am just offended because I thought we are branded as "nightcappers" simply because of our time zone.

Sadly I have seen enough of zone chat to know that there is a significant amount of broad truth to that claim. (I can't speak to any specific crew, it's a general comment)

It's funny to read DC complaining about the EP night cappers driving people away while DC maintains a healthy 6K or so point lead in the campaign. Then there is the fact that EP's control seldom lasts more than three or four hours in a day. AD had already started retaking keeps as of a couple of hours ago. Has the yellow wave continued this morning (NA time)?

There were quite a few that captured Alma Ruma - for about...15 minutes - then we took that baby home. Not much of a fight to take that home keep from 20 or so AD and we had 18.

I totally agree with you that capping NPC keeps sucks and around those times I am mostly preferring levelling my alt. and when that is done I probably go for a larger pop server. but that doesn't change the fact that we are a bunch of people playing the game. our intention isn't closing the server (least what I got told) besides yesterday we had some pretty epic fights. AD - DC - EP, I enjoyed it. and so should you try to enjoy it a tad bit more.

Sorry, I'm calling bullocks. EP Oceanic crew basically use this server to farm emp and cycle them thru. The EP on this server is horrific. Last night alone we witnessed on 7 different occasions where EP will not hit a resource that is defended unless they have 20 siege hitting the area and blanketing everything. They don't know how to take defended keeps - they did not take one from me yesterday anyhow - I doubt AD lost a defended keep to EP last night - and they are so bad at fighting in the open field that they put siege engines down to fight for them. Because, you know hitting that FIRE button is so much easier than thinking of a combination of CC and DPS and healing that would allow the EP on this server to kill people by fighting them.

I know groups love to sneak an oil pot in on people and either A) make a comeback with a well timed oil pot - or B - use a meatbag on a massive force to get a wipe - or C - get an oil cat down to snare them so they can't run away - but my group will rarely do these things in an even fight - or even most of the time on this server - in an outnumbered situation. I laugh at the fact that when we defend a resource or keep like at Faregyl we hold out for 10-15 minutes with 10-12 guys against (last night against AD) 70+ maybe even 100+ but when I see 12 EP in a tower I just use our normal tactic and we lose no one and get to burn 15 oil pots and kill EP as well. The fights at Chalman last night where we would go outside wipe 30 EP and then turn and come inside and find EP in the northeast tower with 10 people and 15 oil pots - and we would clear them with zero fatalities were just hilarious.

And, clearly, I don't give .02 about my "home" server not being Dawn last campaign. EHJ was on Wabbajack from day one all last 90 day campaign. http://nullsignifier.blogspot.jp/2014/07/letters-from-tamriel-part-iv-war-in.html and when every single ex emperor from AD decided to make Wabba their new home for this current campaign cycle - I said - NAH - and looked for a server where we would be outnumbered, under dog, and fighting an uphill battle, but not fighting every exploiting 24 hour around the clock playing emperor the game has seen in one place.

If you guys decide to keep night capping the entire map you will just end up in a two faction campaign again - or possibly even a one faction campaign. DC here was in second place when EHJ got here and I would like to think we are an integral reason why we as a faction are now holding the top spot on the scoreboard - albeit in wide fluctuations of points per hour throughout the day. Do you really want a two way fight with DC so under-pop they cannot put up a fight? Then...go to volen or Chrysamere.

About 20 or so AD came in and stole the scroll but left the keeps, I knocked the scroll runner to the ground 3 times but couldn't keep it up on my own, then stopped for a fun 1v1 with Corvo Adam

I certainly hope so, because that was the first emperor I have ever met that literally I couldnt take seriously.

You expect to get destroyed by a DK emp, not be able to sit there and laugh on TS while you tank him for three minutes straight solo. (and almost actually kill him solo as well, if he hadnt had 1500 more health than me, I would have killed him.)

We were completely baffled, especially considering he kept taking off and doing what seemed to be his own thing all of the time, by himself.

Anyway, the only reason we de-throned the current emp before primetime is so that warz can get it. However much we may PvP on here Warz you get a lot of respect for taking the punishment you do in our TS. You are way better than the energizer bunny man.

So - I know you're next in line - we de-throned the guy today so that you can be all excited about it. Oh - pro tip - don't abdicate the campaign you earned it.

On another note, this campaign is literally getting unhealthy. I took last night off early because I am literally staying up so much I am getting ill. This spread out numbers overnight thing is getting ridiculous. We need an oceanic guild so we dont have to stay up all hours.

It's not that they're doing it to you, personally, it's that they're doing it to yellow.

Valnas was the first overnight emp flip that I'm aware of. After EP had worked every prime time, hours on end, to prevent the crowning, they flipped Chalman at 10 minutes until server downtime, when maintenance notices were coming up and people logging off.

That was on the morning after there'd been a full, multi-hour long siege of Chalman defended to the bitter end. One night previous to that I'd stayed up to 5 am and kept the flip from happening, wiping Valnas's crew approx. 20 times (that is not an exaggeration) in the Chalman inner keep. It's why the Chalamo nickname started to stick.

After that the night capping started in earnest.

When I could stay up again to talk to the late night guys on he weekend, I asked them to at least leave the yellow inner keeps and scroll alone (which they did) to keep the server balanced and not cheese too many folks off. It didn't help, and we had yellow (Rylana mainly) screaming up and down how they'd call DiE in to zerg the server yellow.

This was followed by more yellow nightcapping (which I screenshotted).

I think what I'm getting at is -- everyone's hands are dirty.

Blue daycaps just as much here as they did on my home server of Bloodthorn. Yellow nightcaps just like EP does.
