DK's in general are powerful, but i need to understand something so bear with me.
When 8 players are hitting one DK with everything they got, including a standard of might, dual wield and magic, and that player does not even loose 1/4 of his/her health....what is that?
I have went face to face against other players (including DKs) and yes they can survive much longer, but you are actually dealing damage to them.
Certain players, including sorcerers, just do not loose any health, no matter how many players are around them and how hard they are being bombarded by the team.
Is there a cheat, exploit or bug somewhere? I mean when you use soul strike on a player, and you watch their health and nothing happens.....
Yes, i made sure that there were no healers around.
Another player in our group reported the same thing, sometimes they go down "normally", other times the same player is just standing there, shield up and taking so much abuse they never seem to run out of stamina or even loose health.
This is all on the EU server (if that helps).

i dont want to believe it and i struggle with it but the fact of the matter is that it realy does lean toward and look like this is intentional by the developers.
and by the way, the same thing happens on the NA server.
also:
i find it to be a hack or a cheat but, when you see a dragonight stand up and do this "might" type of skill where he beats his chest or something ... his health allways goes to FULL upon immediate.
what is that skill? and why is it allowed?

Also the Akavari dragon set ult bonus is now a five piece which makes it harder to stack with other armor like warlock.
This really reduces the power of a lot of light armor reflect DK builds that rely on reflective scale and banner spamming.
I don't really have a problem with dragonknights as a class, I just have a problem that they are the only class with so many godlike abilities.
While sorcs and caster builds are getting nerfed at every turn, DKs have 4 super powered abilities.
- Reflective Scale
- Talons
- Flame lash/lava whip
- Dragon Blood
While none of these abilities are win buttons on their own, combined, they are near unstoppable for certain builds. Templars can melee DKs because of their super powered damage shield but sorcs and NBs cant out-DPS a DK at melee range. So range them you say. Every class should have at least one OP ability. DKs have 4. Templars have at least 1. Sorcs have none after the bolt escape nerf. Not sure what nightblades have other than invisibility.

The biggest problem with DKs is their sustain. I don't mind them being able to be practically invincible in spurts. However, due to their very good resource management and low resource cost, they can consistently spam their powerful skills over and over.
The Syrabanes change will help with this some.
Elmojito1000eb17_ESO wrote: »So you are saying that one can have a set up that absorbes 100% of all incoming magic and get 100% heal from it? Including soul strike?
As for blocking, there must be a limt, i mean you can not block 100% of all incoming damage and make it cost 0%. I mean 1 DK taking damage from 8 players and not to have a scratch on his/her health and keeps the shield up never running out of stamina without the use of any ultimate or dragon blood?
Without unstoppable, i charged several DKs and they never got knocked down as well.
I really need to understand this, because there are those 2-3 players (sorcs and DKs) that just do not take any sort of damage from entire groups, seems either something is going on or might as well make an exact same build. Which is a shame since i do not like magic based classes and neither would i like being forced into doing so.

Sorcerers aren't hard to kill. They have no tanking skills, can only blink away if they want to survive. What you see is most likely someone using the vampire skill line to tank players. It's often a Sorcerer, but NB/Templar will do it pretty effectively as well.

Yeah show me this godly sorc tank build please. Hell show me any non-vamp build that can go toe to toe with a DK wearing light impen. Probably just a vamp. Stay out of bats people. Use silver bolts. This kills the vamp.

if that happened to me, i would have been dead within 2 seconds.
and NO they did not have a healer! it was just random solo AD runing around in god mode!
