Guild officer kicked my entire guild

BigBennyLava
Hi guys. Got a serious problem. One of my guild officers went mental and kicked every single person except for 10 before I stopped him. What can I do about this? I can't even see the whole list of @userid's, it just says his userid. Here is some information about it.

This guy told my entire guild that we were disbanding and reforming under a different name and that we should rejoin him.

The name of my guild is Arch-Enemy. The name of the other guild is 'The Order of Arch-Enemy' and they've done it because I refused to give up my guild master seat to one of my officers who demanded it.

    Well, sucks to be you.

But seriously, there's nothing to be done about this. You gave him this power. He used it.

Sorry to hear about that, I hope you can sort it out. I don't think this is something that can be repaired. When running a guild, make sure you only rank those who you can truly trust. Build up a guild with only YOU having the permission to kick until you find some trustworthy officers.

    Best of luck.

Only give trustworthy members such powers. Nothing to be done now besides you invite all the ppl back in.

If you assign an officer, talk to that person in voice comms etc. Dont know the situation, but dont do it like "yea, you a cool person, get officer".

I only assign long an trustworthy members of our Community to such higher ranks.

Well as a guildmaster you have to be ontop of these things, when he demanded guild master you should have immediately revoked his priviledges. Also any successful GM of a larger or semi successful smaller guild had spies EVERYWHERE.

There's usually two sides to every story. If a guild officer thinks that the leader is incompetent or mentally unstable, he is well within his rights to disband and reform the guild.

If he left 10 people in, I would guess he did it for free bank space and probably kept inactive players. Just a hunch.

He didn't stop, I logged on just in time and kicked him.

Ker.Rakb, the other side to the story is that I hadn't been online every single day and he thought I was inactive :| I'm still playing and I was still leading the guild.

Welcome to EV... wrong game. :P

Sorry to hear about those events, but as others have said only give roles to people who you really feel you can trust.
Also just so you know posting the names of other players on the forums in regards to incidents is against forums rules you might want to remove the ones in you OP.

Well you succeeded in getting YOURSELF in trouble by naming and shaming...

As for your guild, they wont do anything YOU gave him the power to do what he did...

    Blame yourself.

I had someone do the SAME thing with my guild, thankfully one of my other officers caught him and stopped him. Honestly i find it ....immature that they need to do this because they are unhappy. The reason my officer did this was because i did not give him a vamp bite >>....i have a list of ppl who asked first lol. All i can say is try and remember who was in the guild, you should be able to check the log to see who he kicked as well.

If you look on the screenshots above, I can't see the names.

I'm not even 100% sure if this guy did it. He may've been hacked because he ignored me and instantly logged off.

Why are you posting this? ZOS is not going to ban him. Suck it up, and don't give anyone else but yourself the power to kick people.

Guys will you please just stop telling me 'you should've done this you should've done that'. Hindsight is of no help to me at all, I can't predict the future. I didn't know this was going to happen and I've come to ask for help, not criticism.

Please chime in with something useful if you have something to say.

There is nothing more to say. The GMs can't do anything. We can't do anything. It's over.

We can't do anything, maybe ZOS can mail you a list of the people that got kicked if you send them a ticket. But other than that, suck it up and move along.

Hum... dont think the support will help in this case.

I think your best bet is to talk with the kicked players and invite them back to your guild , that is it.

    Edt:

If you need a way to find the names , just ask one of the people that got kicked.

You were the guild leader , you for sure remember the names of atleast a few of them. Ask them to send you the names , be it by ss or name by name.

Buy a second copy, make a new account, get invited into the new guild, ingratiate yourself, get promoted to guild officer, and then kick everybody and tell them to join Arch-Enemy.

Something odd here. I just saw that same bunch of lines in one of my guild's histories today.

The lines vanished from the history a bit later. And no one got kicked out. Something is not right here. I would like to know what those lines are about.

What exactly is the point of posting this besides advertising the fact you're a poor judge of character?

What do you want us to do about it, pat you on the back and tell you a bedtime story?
  • BigBennyLava
I wanted advice on what should be done in a situation like this, but as usual from the forums you get a bunch of trolls replying. Bit of a waste of time.

I'm not a poor judge of character. If he did it then he had no reason to, we got on well. It's entirely possible he's been hacked.
