What does your class mean to you?

Self explanatory, however I made this topic in the roleplay forum for a reason. Please tell what your class means to you in an RP format. I'll start the ball rolling!

I am Sorcerer.
My purpose in life is to salt the land with the ashes of my foes.
Through blade and magick united shall the realms run red.
From the bleeding snows of Skyrim, to the dessicated groves of Valenwood, and into the breach of Oblivion itself.
I swear that I will endeavor to make those who would threaten the sanctity of Nirn despair!

Well, my sorcerer means to me that he is meant to be a "glass cannon" as most MMO's portray the sorcerer. However, leveling my sorcerer to vet 10 i find that you can be anything. Any of the 4 classes can be a tank, healer, or dps. Granted that Templar are the only ones with passives that truly directly influence "Healing/Ressurection" and abilities beyond Healing staff that do heal.

So sorcerer means "EVERYTHING and Anything" a player of many styles/research/and persuits.

but the idea of this topic is to leave an RP stylized post as to what your class means to you personally. Sure, i could just say that I prefer to dps over the other aspects, but that's not very much fun, hence the "I am Sorcerer." bit.
