PvP Getting Boring?

Regardless of whatever else you choose to do in Cyrodiil, you are at constant risk of being run over by said zerg. Besides, you kind of need to team up to take objectives.
You don't need a large group of people. You just need to learn people's tendencies and know when to bail on a bad spot. It's not a scenario where you stand on a flag and wait for whatever controlled numbers said scenario allows to throw themselves at you.

Best part ZOS doesn't care or post any intake... I'm having a feeling all their devs are now working on console and forgot about the big issue here. Yup another failed MMO on failed promise.

Though I agree you don't need to use a large zerg, even if you are a small group, you are going to want to find small groups like yourselves and such to fight against, if there is only a small amount of people on the campaign, what is likely to happen is have the opposing faction will do the same.

    This is good news.
I do hope more PvP players find it boring and quit.
I should then be able to play my game without the fear of skills being nerfed because the crybaby PvPers.

No, it's not that we're close minded, it's because you've started several threads and posted dozens of comments saying "I'm done with this game, PvP is bad, bye" over the past week or so.
And you're still starting threads and posting comments saying you're leaving. Just do it already, or stop saying you will.

With that attitude, have fun playing alone... The only thing that comments like these show, is your short-sightedness. As well as any comment just telling people to leave because they didn't like certain things or would like to see something added. If someone thinks this game is perfect as is, sorry but they'd clearly be delusional.

How about adding something constructive to the conversation instead?

As mentioned in my initial post, at the very least they need to reduce the amount of campaigns, they're doing exactly the same as swtor did with their realms, empty servers were kept around for too long before merging. In this case it's happening with campaigns.

What about small free for all areas within the map of Cyrodiil? Just brain storming since PVP will IMO be short lived as well.

I love PvP in all its forms. I agree this game needs more variety.

I am subbed but I haven't logged in for three nights because I only had an hour each night, I wasn't in the mood for pve, and I knew that an hour wasnt enough in AvA. Instead I loaded up battlegrounds in the Wildstar beta. I really like TESO but they need to either introduce more PvP content or reduce the number of campaigns/add bonuses to underpopulated groups/improve experience for non-VR etc. To make AvA more fun and active.

Been saying this all week and last week, nothing from ZOS or devs yet. They honestly don't care man. It's ridiculous how slow things get fixed in this game or let alone a single communication form the developers.

They all work at ZOS. Besides, the developpers are a tad busy working on/patching the game. You expect them to respond to all these threads? Ridiculous, the mods bring them what's said in here. This is evidenced by the fact we asked on the forums for Vamps to be changed/nerfed, and they were. We asked for Scroll carriers to be forbidden from using Bolt Escape, and they were. We asked for Werewolf Ultimate cost to be reduced, and it will be. We asked for NPC Keep guards to include archers, and there will be in patch 1.1.
Plenty of stuff we asked for on the forums have been implemented in the game.

In the patch 1.1 notes it says they'll be implementing a population underdog bonus, but it's unclear if this will be score/AP only or if it'll be buffs. But it shows they know the problem is present and that are working on it.

Woopty doo I get more AP!! who cares. you don't use AP ON ANYTHING important, and they will fix the imbalances? Dude how did you get sold on that, THEY ARE NOT DOING ANYTHING TO FIX THE IMBALANCES PERIOD. Wackist game i played i swear, never felt so lied to ever. GW2 was more fun in the first month that went by than this.

I love the PvP as it is now... no thank you to mini-games of any sort at all, SW-ToR = Horrible PvP for an instance because of that... and it get very boring, Open World PvP in Cyr. is just excelent as it is, grand scale fights is the way.

Remember PvP is a team effort if you want to do big stuff.. you group up with alot of people having cordinated groups.... if you want 1v1 you can still do that, by sneaking around taking on stragglers here and there... you can still run smaller groups for take over of smaller objectives... and even getting away with a keep or two as well if everyone else is busy elsewhere, or at just that point no one will be able to reach you in time...

Enjoy the gamble... yes the PvP might not be hardcore as it is in EvE Online where you actually lose your ship and how it is equipped if destroyed, but running around at the risk of either getting ganked or ganking... or ending up in epic battles is nice as it is.

Tried losing an elderscroll before carrying it back as well as taken over one that the enemy is trying to run back... butterfly effect kicks in... of course defeat stings as hell.... but taking revenge feels sweet and is how it should be... having fun either way.

That is your opinion not fact. IMO huttball was the one redeeming thing swtor had other than the class stories.

Except for the fact that campaigns are empty and therefore cannot find these fights. Either join an overcrowded laggy campaign or run around aimlessly in an empty one.
    having fun either way.
There lies the problem, cyrodiil is not much fun if the campaign is empty, nor is it fun when it's too laggy. There are very little incentives to actually do pvp as keeps and resources really don't matter. If they release the imperial city with the current state of campaigns, that won't fix anything, ppl will just join whatever campaign their faction is steamrolling in order to have access to it. If the cyrodiil changes coming in 1.1 only adjust ap gain then nothing is likely to change in that regard either.

Not to be too mean, but I think the saying is: "Boredom comes to boring minds."

There are just so many things you can do in Cyrodiil and all the posts asking for battlegrounds seem to think that the entirety of PvP is capturing keeps with a zerg. You can even organize your own pseudo-battlegrounds within Cyrodiil if you want. The place is enormous, I guarantee you can set up organized 1v1, 8v8 or 16v16 fights if you want. Players on Skull Crusher are doing just that right now.

I also can't help but think that anyone saying they're bored of PvP already probably rushed to the end game as fast as possible and proceeded to completely overlook the fact that very few others had done the same. I've played fairly regularly since the 5-day early access and still haven't reached even VR1, let alone have I started focusing on Cyrodiil enough to become bored with it. I don't actually expect to ever become particularly bored with it as long as there are fun enemies and I have the free time. Look at DAoC: Some people played that game for upwards of 10 years with one PvP option. It's because it was essentially player-made PvP, so it was always dynamic. Every night could play out completely different. Cyrodiil is setup much the same but it hasn't filled up yet because very many of us are still leveling and enjoying that aspect of the game first.

The claim that they've forgot about PvP is silly too. They've explicitly stated that they're working on the Imperial City right this instant. How is that forgetting about PvP?

So let me get this straight, we want structured PVP and we get told to leave.

DAOC fanboys keep comparing ESO to DAOC and aren't playing DAOC.

Ohh ok... Nostalgia at its best, I am actually extremely dissapointed that this is the same RVR we have been getting over the last decade you would expect changes to be added but ohh well.

Matt Firor. Seriously. This is a spiritual successor to DAoC and you're complaining that people are comparing it to DAoC.

The other reason that people are making this comparison is because we have not had this type of PvP in any MMO since DAoC, contrary to your claim. If we did, I might've actually had an MMO that I've felt like playing for more than a month in the last 10 years. What every MMO does have today, though, are the battlegrounds that some people are insisting are necessary in ESO as well. Why are they necessary? There are literally dozens of current MMOs that have battlegrounds. Why do they have to be here, too?

In the case that they don't add battlegrounds, maybe you and others of your mindset will leave. You'll have lots of other MMOs that fit what you're looking for. In the case that they do add battlegrounds, I will probably leave. However, I will have literally no other options for an MMO. (Maybe I could play GW2, but that's a very watered down version of this type of PvP.) This is probably why those looking for a modern DAoC experience are so vocal about this topic.

There is more to PVP than Zerg vs Zerg, me and my guild like to gank players trying to quest and since our PVP server is dominated by EB and I am part of the dominion we are the underdogs but we certainly make it hard for the EB.

Slowly we are turning the tide of battle - with a good guild PVP is awesome.

I do not play PvP, I am not interested in PvP, but my game is effected by decisions made purely because of PvP.

As for the have fun playing alone comment.
