Dont now if this matter came up before but "search" didnt come up with anything relative

Anyways we are able to craft the most compicated and extreme armors by sacrifising a lot of valuble skills which is fine with me but we are not allowed to repair them!
Something that even traveling merchants can do for a high price.....i think this is completely rediculous and silly
We should be able to repair armors that we can craft or pay a blacksmith to do if we dont have the required materials or we choose to

You need a big hammer to craft armor - you don't have the little one to hammer out the *** in it.

    Also gold sink is working.

Am I missing something here? You can pay merchant to repair individual armor items or you can buy repair kits to repair them yourself. Are you asking for something else?

I think he wants to take an ingot and bang it against his Cuirass.

He's asking for the game to be logical: if you can MAKE something you sure as hell should be able to REPAIR it.

If you've put in the time and effort and expense of leveling a craft to make things you should be able to repair the stuff you can make! Why should you have to pay a non-trivial amount of gold to repair?

You can repair but you need to buy the tools you need to use in repair 'Repair kit' which seem to be quite poor quality as they break once you used it.

Anyway. Many threads already about this and I do agree that at some lvl of crafting you should get passive to make it possible to repair gear using mats or other similar gear.

Even if I have to use a crafting station to do it, I should be able to repair my gear myself. If they aren't going to let us do that, then they need to lower the cost of repairs. I can have an entire day's worth of gold wiped out by a single repair bill, sometimes from a death that wasn't even my fault. (I swear, I didn't know there was a cliff there :))

    Repair Kits....are for emergency

I always have repair kits when i play Veteran dungeons and I think repair kits are great but only for emergency use

Have you relize the cost of repairs if you use repair kits? Last time i checked it was was 3-4 times more than a merchant's repair for a 20% damaged armor but even for a 50% would be more than double
I quess you never use one so.... dont suggest things you dont know

Am rank 50 in blacksmithing with all perks and skills and I think its totaly stupid that i cant repair my armors.....thats all

What about the players that aren't Tailors or Blacksmiths or Woodworkers?

It's a money sink. Easy as that.

A problem in MMORPGs is inflation. There's an infinite source of money, so over time, the total amount of money in the system increases. As everyone gets more and more money, prices grow higher and higher. The higher prices are, the harder it is for new players to catch up and get enough money to afford stuff.

To keep this from happening, games add money sinks, like repair costs. It's an infinite money sink.

Their choice. Same as those that are those crafts have to buy the products of crafts they're not: in this context 'repair' would be a product in that regard.

The whole edifice is a result of a fallacy: that an MMO needs an economy.

If an MMORPG is designed without an economy, the players will effect it having one.

Even if there were no currency, people'd start trading. "I give you an epic robe for that helmet." "wtt 10 iron ore for level 5 fire dmg enchant" etc.

The only way for an MMORPG not to have an economy is to prohibit all sorts of item trades beetween players, and I think we can agree that that goes against the pillar of social interaction the genre is built on.
