The most powerful class in the world...

When I go out on an adventure, I take my destruction staff in both hands because it's so big that I have too. Sometimes, when I am not alone, I bring out my restoration staff, it's equally big but makes me more friends in parties.

I can do this, because I am the most well staffed sorcerer in the world.

But... <lifting mug> for everything else, I've got Imperial Ale.

...a long time ago, me and my brother @Fairydragon3 here were hitchhiking down a long and lonesome road. When all of a sudden, there shined a shiny "class", in the middle of the road...

Just remember, you have to "spec" her gently.

If anyone says templars don't do as much dps as a dk apparently havent played their templar specd for light armor, destruction staff, and dual wield with points in dawns wrath and restorative light. Not only can I take out a group of 5 mobs in 4 hits, but I can not die when my other characters would without needing a crappy resto staff.

phat loot there.. for the time spent i'm sure i'd have alot more loot and xp.. well maybe not xp.. but certainly loot.

The vid looks like the player is ducking into stealth then using staff.. clearly an exploit wether it's available ingame or not, i doubt it's by design thus an exploit. Thus no marks...

Shield bash is not the issue. Shield bash filled with +bash dmg jewerly is.

Also your issue demonstrates another issue. Magic users like sorcs can freely waste their stamina to get double the damage output resource wise.
I think bash bashing is the issue and shielding jewelry from it all is just damaging.

Could you tell us at which level this is, and using which skills? I'm certainly not a theorycrafting expert, but I'm not seeing how this would work at vet levels.

The rel problem is melee is in such a F'd up state that shield bash is the only competitive melee spec. a lot of passives and secondary effect on morphs are not even working. Melee needs a severe boost all together not more nerfs to one spec that actually is competitive with ranged and casters.

I would also like to see a break down of this.. smells like fanbois bs tbh.

I have vet 1 templar, specced with pure heavy, skills in 1h/shield, 2h, dual wield at around 50 skill.

    Resto staff at 30 skill.

    Aedric is around 45 skill
    Sun around 5 skill
    healing 50 skill.

    Destruction - 3 skill.

My light and medium is around 5 skill.

As 50/Rk1 I can comfortably take on 3 grp mobs. By comfortable, I mean I don't need to heal at end of fight.

I can take on 4-5 groups, but it can be a rough ride. sometimes ending in my dying.

There is NO argument that sun specced light armour templars can deal massive dps using aedric as backup and overflowing your majika regen / boost mana steals etc ie doing everything to assist mana flow.

The problem for templars, is when you DON'T spec them in sun and aedric, when you try to go a little bit melee with some healing and others thrown in, that's when you suffer.

The alternative, is grinding every skill to 50+ this would probably take even the most elite player 3 months to do. Then just respeccing dependent on mob you intend to fight. Mob being ai or player, in the case of cyrodile.

All class-skills are magic-based. So everyone uses his ressources equally.

Only if they depend on class skills. Melee players, depend on stamina to fight, class skills to backup or embellish the play.

He wrote Magic Users like Sorc. But sorc can also be a melee, just like Nightblade can be a Magicuser.

Although I agree... I don't think it should be changed. If anything, certain things shouldn't cost stamina, like sprinting... in my opinion there should only be two speeds... walk or sprint... and sprint shouldn't cost any stamina and walking should be faster. I remember entering into ESO the first time and thinking how silly (although now I'm used to it) it looked with everyone jogging around.
    nightblade with resto staff
why: because they can take down on a 4 man dungeon boss alone

yes but the gameplay is boring as f**k! Who wants to play like that?
