Campaign Rulesets

Per the May 1st Reddit AMA:
We have talked about different rulesets for campaigns as well as having a dungeon experience which has PvP enabled.

If you were interested in a different sort of ruleset for a campaign, what would it be? Personally I'd like to see a campaign that soft caps all stats at the bolster level, (so level 10 would be bolstered up to 50, and VR12 would be soft capped down to 50). Then they could just disable any VR experience gain in that campaign so people would have to move on to a regular campaign if they wanted to advance past a certain point.

Anyway, I'm sure these campaigns would be optional, so please just focus on what you personally would like to see.
Something being unbalanced in 1v1 does not imply that it is balanced in group play.

    Imagine all the issues that wouldn't be there if they just decided that yep, you'll suck at level 10, come back at 50 :p

    Really though, a free for all one maybe? Would be interesting to see how the game would play out if everyone was on their own, every player you see is likely out to kill you and there weren't just zergs everywhere.

    Personally I would like to see 4 rule sets
    1) Hard core - exactly as is now
    2) Normal - No Vampires or werewolves - all levels 1 - VT 12
    3) Vets - Same as Hard Core but only for lv Vet 1 to Vet 12
    5) Novice - Normal but for Lv 1 - 49 only. Once you hit lv 50 you can't enter and get a free move to one of the other Campaigns.

    a 1-49 campaign would be pretty cool.

    However, I'm not sure if you should have Emperors for that campaign, as someone can make an alt and get emperor in the lowbie campaign and be a former empire once they advance to the "hardcore" campaign.

    I don't want to see anything that excludes players from eligibility, except by alliance rank, NOT charecter level or class/skilllines.

    I would like to see "fluff" campaign rules fore new players to help with the PvP learning curve:
    • increased Out of Combat movement speed/campaign only horse.
    • reduced price campaign only AP purchase sets for 10-50 as well as VR sets already present.
    • reduced price campaign only tents
    • reduced cost to guest campeign

    On the same note more challenging rules for experienced and competitive teams based on alliance rank rather than character level.:
    Bonuses by Alliance rank
    • movement speed bonuses available by Alliance rank
    • Bank space increases (specifically slotted for PvP equipment)
    • campaign flavored costumes for purchase based on alliance rank.
    • increased cost to guest

    I would like to see campaigns specifically aimed to draw pvp/alliance ranked players and make the new player or pvp casual players campaigns easy enough to guest so hardcore pvp friends can still play with them, but more costly to guest on the more "hardcore" PvP campaigns.
