Per the May 1st Reddit AMA:
We have talked about different rulesets for campaigns as well as having a dungeon experience which has PvP enabled.
If you were interested in a different sort of ruleset for a campaign, what would it be? Personally I'd like to see a campaign that soft caps all stats at the bolster level, (so level 10 would be bolstered up to 50, and VR12 would be soft capped down to 50). Then they could just disable any VR experience gain in that campaign so people would have to move on to a regular campaign if they wanted to advance past a certain point.
Anyway, I'm sure these campaigns would be optional, so please just focus on what you personally would like to see.
Something being unbalanced in 1v1 does not imply that it is balanced in group play.
