Yeah , because most research results around the world , go out of their way to check every single human being on the PLANET , instead of gathering the results from a resonable pool.

Watches a vr 10 dk waltz into our group today and swarm up, no where to run as indoors.
Impossible to kill due to batswarm.
Multiple casts of bat swarm killing me and everyone around me in less than 5 sec.

Unable to kill due to heals.
Unable to survive due to crazy aoe damage.

Aoes are out of control and people have to accept that.
There wont be a game left if it continues like this.

Yeah we get it you love using your button spam to defeat zergs but its not good gameplay.

i find it impressive that someone can complain about ONE vamp ability that needs a nerf, so they think that all aes need a nerf.

and calling it button spam when using 5 abilities to kill your zerg is funny

if you died to a smaller group then you failed, not the group that won. Thats like losing a game then flipping the board over and saying "whatever this is stupid"

Bat swarm is broken, not all AoEs

The best solution for the Devouring Swarm issue that I've seen on the forums is one that Zintair suggested on the thread "The Correct way to deal with OP vampires":

"Changing the way Ultimates need to work HAS to happen. They are Ultimate abilities. They should not be the most used ability in your rotation.

Let me play the scenario out. We nerf Ultimate Cost Reduction and remove Ultimate generation when ultimate is active.

Things that will happen:

Batswarmers will no longer be able to spam it.

DK Standard will no longer be able to be spammed

All other Ultimates take a slight set back but are still able to be utilized.

THEN:

They prevent Bolt Escape and Mist Form to be used while carrying a Scroll.

Conclusion:

I doubt people will cry when a Mist Form vamp... just sits there. They can't kill anything, so who cares. It was the Bat Swarm that constantly healed them which was a problem.

DKs now have less Standard spammage than they did.

Only other change you would need is DR on Soft CC for like 2-5 seconds and PvP is back where it needs to be."

This, I believe , is the best solution.

Well Eu has 4 campaigns full every night each three bars and the others which have 1 faction on three bars. Given its 500 a faction plus overflow not sure where you get 3500 from ^^

I think you may have an english problem. i said "right now" not tonight during your primetime lol. Whats hilarious is that polling takes a "sample" of your population, which you dont seem to understand. I suggest you use google to clue yourself in on how polling works. Good luck

That example you used is a SINGLE skill that is OP as hell in its' current form. I've never used it (and am mostly single target dps in PvP), but even I can recognize that a single skill being OP as hell shouldn't lead to mass, blanket nerfs for every other skill.

Vampire ulti is OP, can we please nerf Heavy Armour's Immovable! That'll fix the OP ulti! By nerfing every other skill!

Just from reading these types of forum posts...it would seem a lot of children have no clue how aoe in this game works.

And to be honest, I'm not going to waste my time trying to explain it to you as it will in all probability go over your head or you'll ignore it anyway and continue to have your hissy fit.

The forums as a whole might very well be that kind of animal.

However, there were only a handful (compared to the total user base of this game) of ppl who even bothered enough to take part in this poll.
Those are by no means a reasonable pool of the whole player base: those are the angry and unhappy ones regarding the AOE changes.
And posting the same results over and over again makes them only the loudest crybabies - but it definitely does not make them "most people".
