infinite mana?

Was doing some PvP and came up against an enemy sorc, I am one too, but this guy seemed to have infinite mana. He was running around trying to gank reinforcements. Everytime I came up to him he would start porting away and I would port after him but would run out of mana after about 5-6 and he would just keep porting away. I even had friends who would cut him off and he would just not stop porting. Now I have my magic pool and regen overcharged and have reduce cost enchants on and I just ran out of mana way faster than him.

Is there something I am missing on how he did not seem to run out of mana, ported away from us all, healed and ported right back near us only to port away when almost killed again.

I wish I was recording cause it almost seemed like he had like a 5k mana pool to just port for like 30 seconds straight.

VR+ breton sorc here, light armor specced for magicka cost % reduction, high recovery, ect. Each cast for my IV ball of lightning consumes approximately 16% mana

There is a myriad of ways that people can build their characters and synergise builds, could of been a combination of foods, potions, bonuses to those items, armor stat combinations, that gave him seemingly endless magic pool

Thechemicals

Breton doesnt have enough signifcance in the passives department to create that amount magicka. Besides, high elf has the same and arguably better magicka passives.

What he is using is in the mages guild skill tree. Its called equilibrium with Spell Symmetry. It reduces the cost of his next spell by 30% and gives him mana for health. The health loss is hardly noticeable loss with good recovery and potions+food.

v1 Altmer Sorc (+10% max magica). @ 1900 max magica, (Morphed Bolt IV) costs me aprox 13%.

+47% Magica regen: 77 MR

• Storm Calling: +10%
• 7piece Light Armor: +28%
• Altmer: +9%

-36% Bolt magica cost: 223

• Dark Magic: -5%
• Storm calling: -10%
• 7 piece Light armor: -21%

feel free to add something I missed, but the majority of passive boosts are based in the light armor line.

I have 0 mana. where do you get it? I have around 2000 magicka but i dont have any mana or what. whats that?

Thats why I wish I was recording because during the fights he was casting lighting form, ward and crystal fragments a few times then was able to use bolt over 10 times. When you account the spells he was casting I would assume his mana was around 50% by the time he started porting away so unless there was a way for him to cast bolt for ~100 then I don't know how he was doing it. Maybe spell symmetry so im gonna look into that.

But I am gonna start recording everything from now on so if some thing fishy happens again I will be able to review it later and have others analyze it too.

probably a magicka build + warlock set. it helps a ton
