I think they're timing it to coincide with your grasp of comma usage, so it might be a while.

You do realize what a " , " is correct? You understand it can be used ( though not limited to ) to signify a pause, right?

Meh many mmos are switching over to free to play, i prefer pay to play myself how ever I don't see this game cutting it.

Not because the game is bad, but because devs, and customer support is. You can argue with me, troll me, and mock me etc.. but the fact remains if they don't do their jobs a little better this game will crash and burn all the way to f2p.

Or are you just that slow lol

No one is going to buy this attempt at a save. Particularly when you use "to" in a parenthetical and then repeat the word "to" right after it. ESL?

They said they will continue to have a subscription as long as there is at least one person paying for it. Something like that.

It's not an attempt to save some thing, it's a fact. And your insult is pathetic at best try harder, oh by the way reported, reported, and again reported lol.

I do believe i read something about it not going to be free to play for a long time due to the fact they are pushing to release new content on a monthly basis, which requires a lot of work and money to pay developers.

As a private company, they may have more leeway dealing with this than some publicly-traded companies. Or at least feel they do. At $14.99, you don't really need WoW-level subscribers to have a successful game. Not even close. I suspect ZOS will be able to hold out quite a long time if they want to. They question is whether they'll want to do that, or whether if the populations go down they'll see f2p as a quick way to get cash into the game.

What MMO has cut it in the first month of its release, please inform me. ZOS doesn't have to tell us anything, it was stated in the terms of service. People are whining just to whine.

As the question about the use of a comma is more interesting by far than the OP's original non-question.....

You have about as much clue as to how a comma should be used as the OP: i.e. none at all.

Everything after the OPs use of a comma does not form a complete thought so the sentence no longer makes sense because of his use of a comma in this case. Even if you can't grasp why this is so, WHY ON EARTH would you pause there in a sentence - say it out loud if it helps you.

Good point. Look at the last two patches, EU servers get patched without any delays, where the NA server has mysterious problems. BOTH TIMES!! I'm honestly wondering why this is happening, its the SAME patch. Also, when these delays happen, we get very little to no updates for hours.

Sorry, brother, but unless you are speaking some long-lost dialect, there should be no pause there.

Come to think of it, I would love to hear how this might sound :) Perhaps like something Captain Kirk would quip while talking to Khan, or something:

Captain Kirk, "When is the free to play,"

Shifts weight from one foot to another, hands and shoulders going up in a "who knows?" gesture -

    "announcement coming?"

    Sorry, I couldn't help myself.

Unless you want this MMO to break and epically fail, the announcement is not coming. For all the work and effort put into this game, its not possible for it to be F2P. Zenimax is doing a good job thus far. The game hasn't even been out for a month. Give it time for them to sort out all the bugs and get their stuff together.

If you want F2P, please go somewhere else.

I see the mmo community forums are still as brainless as ever, the trolls and forum warriors come out in force to brandish their digital weapons on a topic they don't like.

this topic has been made and talked about over and over again. Why make it when you know what the discussion is going to be like.

Or we could rekindle yesterday's argument about creating a premium server for $100 a month for those with "financial freedom". That argument was almost as hilarious as some of the comments on this thread.

Well said, it's a fact that the economy is bad just about every where, and because of this a lot of mmo gamers can no longer afford to pay for subscriptions.

Which is why you always see a huge amount of people complaining about p2p games. It's interesting to note that the f2p model is generalized to much, and doesn't necessarily mean the game is " Completely free to play " There are are quite a few ways to offer that option.

And due to the nature of free to play games the micro transactions tend to make a lot more money then the subscription based games.

"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you."

Yeah, they can. I think it was Turbine who said their revenues went up when they went f2p on LOTRO and DDO. So the question is whether ZOS will jump at something like that if the populations drop, or whether they'll hold out. If I had to predict, I'd say they're going to hold out and not to f2p very quickly, if at all. But that's just a guess.

That's a mighty awkward place to put a pause. Seems like a place Shatner would put one.

Well it took DDO 3 years to go FTP after starting SUB so who knows?
