Mages Guild Bug

Hello there,

I have no idea if this is really a bug or if it is just a special case for me but nonetheless I need help. I completed the first three Mages Guild quests. However, after completing the third one, Shalidor never appeared! I thought oh okay maybe he will appear randomly somewhere else (that has happened to me a few times). However, this was at level 25 in Shadowfen. Now, my character is level 38 and I am doing quests in the Rift and yet Shalidor has still never appeared. I have tried everything I can think of (going back to every Mages Guild, reloading and relogging and running around most of the zones yet he seems to be alluding me). I would not be reporting this potential bug if I had not exhausted every other option that I can think of. Would someone be able to help me out here? My account name is latinsmarty16 and in game my character name is Varen Stark if that would be of help!

P.S.The quest is the Chateau of the Ravenous Rodent!

The three suggested solutions with regards to quests are:

1) /reloadui to ensure its not an interface issue

2) Try logging in/out

3) Abandon the quest and start it again (seems to get the best results)

If you know the quest name have you tried googling it to see if its been reported elsewhere on the internet?

Lastly you could raise a support ticket with ZOS, although it may be a while before they patch in a fix.

@Allumis, I already did numbers 1 and 2 multiple times. As for the third one, how would I be able to abandon the quest if I never even got the quest since I did not speak to Shalidor?
