Hi, a few days after early launch I received an in-game email from "customer appreciation" delivering to me the "Imperial" goodies. Though I had not bought that edition I accepted thinking that perhaps some kind person may have buffed me...
Next thing I know my bank is wiped out.

Now I am receiving more emails in-game from "customer appreciation" and am not about to open the damned things.

ESO, if you want to send unsolicited emails to me please announce on the forums or somewhere that you are doing it... otherwise I will not trust to open them.

That's not from TESO, report yer account its been compromised. If you are unsure of a mails validity NEVER open it. The gold farmers are sending in game mails and bogus guild invites to get a back door into yer account.

I think thats related to bank wipes. When ur bank gets wiped ESo send you the bonus material from imperial and explorer pack, (automatic system?) probably they cold not destinguise if u had the standard or imperial version bought so they junt send all the goodies.

No, Aenima, I had not reported a bank wipe before I received the first email; I did, however, report it subsequently but never received a response... so I just kept playing...
And, Glasswalkers, it would be very handy if when you suggest that someone report their account to have been compromised that you tell them how...

If they can hack your accounts just by opening an IN-GAME mail, then I fear Zenimax needs to fire their whole team, and hire new people.
