Solo PvP Video, VR1 Sorcerer.

I hit VR1 2 days ago and decided to hop into PvP. I recorded the following video. It is the first video I made so the editing isn't great. If there is a lot of demand I can make more videos with montages of 1vX fights. I hope you enjoy watching my video. I made a continuous video to show that I didn't edit in the easy fights.

What is your Ultimate because it doesn't show in the build and I'm not knowledgable enough to see it in the game. Is it Stone Atronach?

Storm atronach. But I'm not convinced of its use in solo play. I would run Meteor if I had it.

I stopped after the first 2 mins. All sub-50 no VR, bolt escape to divide, overwhelm with ridiculous stat differences. Make this same video in a month when everyone is L50...

She did fight a few VRs. It's a continuous video, nothing was cut out.

Bolt Escape makes my Templar green with envy. Gives you control over the surrounding area that no other class could hope to match.

Regardless, its hardly the time to post PvP videos for skillful recognition. Most people aren't even L50, let alone VR10. Nor do most people have optimized specs yet.

If he posted for fun, props, but the 1vX comment leans towards elitism. I can hardly credit someone as skilled when 90% of their competition has no chance =\

We aren't watching you play. We're watching your avatar. Your avatar is female, therefor you are a "she". Thems the breaks. If you don't want to be associated with that particular gender, roll a male.

Also, any video you post in which you use bolt escape is going to get a ton of criticism, because the skill is completely and utterly broken at the moment.

Fun video. Of course there's nothing exceptional here considering your opponents, but you also don't seem to be claiming anything exceptional.

I also kinda feel a lot is being made about your use of bolt escape but I don't see the issue. When you use it to get away, you're completely out of mana and have to wait to regen to do any damage. All it really seems to be useful for is to reset a fight or escape altogether. At most, bolt escape just makes the class more forgiving to sloppy play, but you're not killing people with it and clearly stand a good chance of dying yourself when you engage. Just look at the level 20-something templar that came back for a rematch: you beat him handedly the first go but he got you pretty low the second time before you had to escape. If he was a more experienced player or a higher level, he might've had the wherewithal to finish the job before you could get away.

While I am aware many men like to watch swaying female hips while they play, I prefer to assume people are the gender of their avatar. The alternative: assuming someone is a male because they have a female avatar: is more likely to cause offense if untrue.

If everyone wants bolt escape nerfed..Then I want all stuns nerfed..... If you can't stand not being able to kill someone who uses bolt escape away, then I can't stand you stunning me into a perma stun where i die instantly...NERF STUNS then... because the way i see it..bolt escape , you have a 70% Chance of actually getting away from stuns....everyone goes for a stun build, so its more popular than people who Bolt escape away... Kinda double standards here.

and everyone has to deal with bolt, and mist, and sneak, and chains, and assault speed, and the other gap closers... they all have specific weaknesses, and significant ways to use them to seriously mess someone up.

It's like saying it's not right players can chain people one by one onto, or off of the seiged wall... it's like saying it's not fair I can be seen in stealth from sooooo far away, or that I cant regen STA enough to break stun more than once a fight, if I haven't used it to interrupt a healer already or cast run speed, because I built for power regen...

This is sour grapes because a target you thought should be easy, gets away. Like every other thing mentioned it has counters and significant trade offs... you just aren't specd to counter it well enough or you don't accept the trade offs sacrificed because you don't use it. It's like saying Healers are able to heal too much and I couldn't kill him. Dress wearing sorcerers like to run away... it's kind of our thing.

theres no way to "perma stun", simply bash when the enemy stuns you the first time.

there's no way to "perma stun", simply bash when the enemy stuns you the first time.

and to those who don't spec to have sta regen because they have specd power regen are perma stunned the very next time stun hits... that's if you were fast enough to break it before the damage was caused.

Oh and mage light gives me motion sickness....unless i am in first person mode which I dont like, do you really need mage light?

if you like 20% crit you do, otherwise no, it's trade off for the slot like everything else.
