Losing you siege to "chat" is the most stupid "bug"

You are working your siege, and want to say something in the chat.
When you are done, some tard next to you has control of your siege, because apparantly you "leave" it while you write - or invite to group.

This really needs a fast fix!
GW2 did it right. Others can take your siege if you leave it, but it is yours, so anytime you want, you can take it from them.
But in general, fix the "leaving the siege" while typing..

I'm pretty sure you can pack it anytime, but IDK bout take it from them.. Yes you should be able to retake your siege at will IMO....

Yea but don't let it get to you. Just place another one down and you will have 2 methods of attack as well.

Yeah, anyone can take over your siege the moment you step away. It's really annoying ...

On the other hand, it's very useful when you suddenly die, and one of your alliance mates can take it over and continue shooting with it. It happened to me twice already, and it was good to see, lying dead, that one of us took my siege weapon and defended the walls further. Good job.

Its useful that others can take over - yes.
- But NOT when you are writing a message!

So again, the solution is like in GW2, the Siege owner/placer should at anytime be able to take back his own siege, and overrule the other guy who took it!

have to agree, not being able to type in chat whilst using a siege engine is a bit frustrating - everytime i tried, i got kicked out of my siege.

would be nice to be able to kick people out of your siege, if you happen to leave it for a moment (because of the chat issue, or because you need to self heal or something) - although, whenever someone has jumped in my siege engine, i've politely asked them to leave and buy their own - they normally jump straight out, i might not get an apology, but they did at the least give it back

there also seem to be a lot of people that "forget" you can take your siege engine down after you've decimated a wall/door

see so many laying around after a siege, which isn't funny when you can't set up at the inner gate because there's too many left outside
