Perhaps it's the secret third option

Lost personality. This is not good as RPG.
I want something cosmetic effect to maintain original class theme for subclass skills.

I want to keep original class theme image, even after the SubClass build.
Like this.(I did speed painting)
Just don't make everything like "Green Lantern movie".

Even though it’s a straightforward question, I still find it difficult to answer with a simple “Yes” or “No.” I’m not against Subclassing and I've spend dozens of hours experimenting with different combinations, which was pretty fun. These days, however, I'm playing the game less than I did before Subclassing was introduced. I'm just not a fan of:The first point bothers me the most. I genuinely don’t understand why we still haven’t seen any meaningful balance adjustments, and it sours the whole system for me.
- The current balance
- The loss of class identity
ZOS has access to far more data than we do, so the developers should be able to see which skill lines and abilities are underperforming in the current meta. I mean, even players can scrape data from public logs to create graphs like these:
How hard would it have been to at least buff skill lines that almost nobody uses, like Shadow, Draconic Power, and Dark Magic, in U48? Doing so could’ve added a bit more build diversity, and it would’ve been a small buff for “pure” builds that are currently stuck with those weaker class lines as well.

The numbers are somewhat misleading. There are two problems:
1) Base class lines synergize well together and are mixed. Whereas DLC class lines are distinct.
2) Damage lines will have 4 x the number of picks compared to tank/heal lines, but this is skewed by 1).
The breakdown would be less misleading if it was done by role as well. And also PvE/PvP. Oh and original class so as to compare per capita.
