Maybe a bit out of topic, but wanted to vent a bit regarding the stream....

While I´ve no insight who´s in charge of the showcase streams ZOS do, I´m baffled how you can spend 1,5 hour talking about literally nothing. There is maybe 15-20 min of actual content and showcase (running around in other half of Solstice doing nothing is barely worthy of being called a "showcase"). Compare to whenever the GGG developers (those who are developing Path of Exile 2) do their showcase where they spend the first 15-20 min just bombarding you with all new things that will come with the next update, AND THEN spend the rest of the stream talking about whatever and maybe a short Q&A. ZOS for sure could learn a thing or two from them when it comes to create interest and hype for upcoming patches.

For me the loss of interest with the game as of lately is how each new update adds little to nothing "new" in a sense. Same re-skinned trials with same layout/formula (3 bosses, 3 HM´s and a out of reach trifecta), dungeon DLC´s with little variety, very few to no interesting sets, Vengeance that ZOS seems to be very eager to push/force down the community´s throat despite mixed feelings on whether it´s good for the game or not (can´t wait to be right on Vengeance replacing regular PvP down the road, even though I hope I´m wrong). ZOS putting all new content on maintenance mode after it´s been implemented (looking at you battlegrounds). Like I can go on......

Honestly, It had to be one of the most boring showcase streams ever. I totally understand that they wanted to show the map, but without spoilers. I would say that showing off map etc left me quite impressed actually and the world bosses could be fun - especially the one that they showed last. I also liked how they talked about your story choices. Yet again, they didn't show anything because "no spoilers" - which in this case is understandable.

But everything else? There was nothing to show. Are the map & quest designers only people working? Combat & PvP/Cyro part was disappoting - no suprises here, as I think the team that is responsible for it completly ignores players, and they want to make survey to get feedback. And even on recet AUA (ask us anything) Brian's answers were not that popular among players...

I also have to play devil's advocate here, I wouldn't compare it to PoE2. PoE2 is developed and yet to be relased, it is in early access and everything is hyped and their hyping up also not always is good reflection of reality. I would like ZoS to be more realistic with what they show. I think if they didn't had much to show they should cut it and that's it. People are taking about few huge systems that ZoS hyped up at the beginning of the year and so far they only teasing us, with nothing to show. I wouldn't mind if they went quiet for some time and actually comeback when things are ready, becuase all I ever hear is "we have so much to show.... later".
