Automatic ban for cheating/exploiting

I want to chime in here. Someone porting to Cyro/IC in the middle of a fight is not necessarily the result of cheating, but rather the queue system or just a delay in the process.
I had a situation where I queued for Cyro while in IC. There was no queue. I was in stealth waiting for it to pop. I got the prompt and hit the key to port. Then someone immediately found me and attacked. I was defending myself when more enemy players jumped in. I was defending myself against 5-6 players and losing ground when I poofed and the Cyrodiil loading screen appeared.
I did not cheat. I was waiting for the integrated process to kick in and was unwillingly thrown into battle.
Whilst it's not the topic being discussed here queuing into cyro/ic/bg/group finder to avoid dying in PVP is considered an exploit by some. Especially when it avoids you losing tel'vars to other players. There are mechanics in place within IC to 'port to base' and those require you to be out of combat whilst using the port stone. This is why people consider being able to do so whilst in combat an exploit as it's 'unintended' based on the other available mechanics.

I also got a reply from Zos about addons alone being a ban reason?: In short - No it is not.
Addons use ofificial API and thus they cannot get you banned UNLESS you find any API that is exploitable and use ithat exploit actively (like at 2014 where some shady addon dev (who got banned quickly) attached gold to emails and send that automatically to himself without letting the users know he/she did... This was shut down early back in 2014,before you ask! So not possible anymore).
Means, that addon FishingState* alone would never get you banned. Whoever said so was wrong and missunderstood what ZOs answered I guess?
ZOs does only ban you if you were using FishyBot (which I think is using that addon to get some data from ESO to react on for the automatic fishing) or any other external tools or changed eso64.exe files etc. which are not allowed (hopefully not any Reshade tools for graphics quality improvements...But these usually do not change the eso64.exe, they add or change some graphics drivers dll files or direct3d dll files).
Conclusion to me:
In the end that means (for me at least): the users who got banned actively used external tools like FishyBot or any other modified executable of ESO or any other tools.
It was not because they simply downloaded and activated any addon.

Even this is no official exploit as you can always do that with ingame available clicks, or even with the API provided by ZOs. Beside that I'd think this should be forbidden or not possible anymore, as it is clearly an advantage to do it (if it works), especially if you got some kind of addoj with a keybind which tries it for you directly then.
Should be only available manually via opening the menus and clicking 10 times

It took them 2 weeks for me I wasn't banned for this but yah I totally get it I've spent over 15k easy on this game but I also play on all platforms so probably even more0 -

✭If ZoS banned me I'd save a fortune IRL.
Out of the 500 continually rolling membership of our guild I've not heard of anyone getting banned. We have some simple rules in our guild and expect people to abide by them, by and large they do, I can't recall ever having to kick someone or report someone for their behaviour, so these people getting banned must have been doing or saying something quite naughty.
This is then reviewed by an actual person who then uphelds the decision and it's bye bye blue sky or reinstates the account if it was a code mininterpretation, or asks for more information from the person being banned.
