This took two weeks? I wonder what they actually did during this time. Must have had a few office birthday parties.

These cracked me up. I often reference dungeons to myself because the voice acting is so entertaining (the blessed crucible is another favorite of mine for it). I loved reading these and hearing them in my head.

Maybe things aren't that bad so they didn't overnerf? idk

Maybe pvp is being ignored??. Outside of performance.

Seems the future for pvp will be the vengeance system?

Just because people didn't get changes they wanted, doesn't mean that ZOS hasn't been busy crunching numbers and making calculated decisions based on what they've seen on PTS. They have all the data, they know what combinations of skills are excessive... and clearly aren't concerned by what they've seen. You also have to consider who their target market is... and I'm thinking it's not those who are complaining.

Maybe they wanted to increase the suspense by releasing it in instalments ;)

Can't really describe this week's list as a "large chunk of combat changes" so hopefully we find out Soon (TM)

Saying ZOS “has all the data” doesn’t mean they’re interpreting it wisely or building anything coherent from it. Data isn’t insight. And claiming to know their “target market” is speculative at best. You’re not in the boardroom, and neither are we.

What we can see are the results. Necromancer remains directionless. Trial participation is falling. Subclassing, far from empowering players, is creating power creep and identity collapse. The system reads more like a design workaround than a design vision

That’s rather optimistic IMO. I think we’re in for 1-2 years of churn, extreme balance patches, and end game player exodus before there’s a reckoning of some sort given the imbalance of multi classes vs pure classes.

that would be soooo unfortunate for zos lol. Its hard enough to make a go of it with a solid ip. Space mmos dont seem to do very well. Even starwars couldn't really make a go of it in a few attempts. Maybe a silver lining and they change direction and make eso 2, given that starfield wasn't that popular and the oblivion remake is very popular.

My estimation is only to get the game into a functioning state. I expect it will be completely broken for the next many months. I still find it completely bizarre that they didn't overhaul each skill line entirely before attempting something like this. It feels like that should've been the first step. Update 46: rework all of the skill lines to make sure that they're all in order and are ready for intermingling. Update 47: release the first pass and stab at multi-classing.

Already stop ESO plus renew and waiting for the worst...

Maybe ZOS doesn't listen to player's voice, but they will listen to the sound of coins.

Well a "large chunk of combat adjustments", doesn't mean all combat adjustments or even most combat adjustments..

So I have no doubts there will at least be more combat adjustments coming.

Perhaps, but I still think it's a misuse of the term "chunk" let alone "large".
    "Nibble" would have sufficed.

The context of the quote of "large chunk" would imply at least that there were supposed to be more changes in week 4, than week 3.... So yeah, I am also not quite sure where are they gone.
