we need to tone down the crit damage
A lot of that can be blamed on the new u46 chase mythic, Monomyth Reforged, which gives permanent Major Force on the front bar (all that matters), among other powerful and efficiently placed buffs. It looks like it could well be another Malacath or Oakensoul situation, one ring to rule them all.

Definitely agree with reigning-in particularly Nightblade power.

But also... we still have the Warrior and Apprentice Mundus Stone doing the exact same thing. Can we please get a Crit Resist Mundus? And maybe un-nerf Impen while we're at it.

I realize that this PTS cycle is over, but could you please consider buffing Mages' Wrath for the next update? It's quite bad (at least for PvE) at the moment.

It's a bad ability for PvP too. The only place it has in PvP is in new player (very low MMR) battlegrounds where everyone is on 17k health builds, with no champion points, spamming light attacks, and not healing. So spamming mages fury (either morph) there, players get to constantly steal kills (that were already guaranteed kills) and post fancy KDA scores that realistically could have been gotten using literally any other damage ability.

the proc threshold is so criminally low it's not worth wasting a bar slot just for a proc execute that's only usable in the final 5 seconds of an encounter and doesn't even out-damage a regular execute.
the upfront damage is laughably low so it's not worth using as a regular ability outside of that final 20%
it's damage type (shock) is the least supported damage type in the game
it's affected by the evasion buff (10/20% AoE mitigation), so it's even weaker than other executes that aren't affected by evasion.
it's getting nerfed (proc duration) so it can't even be reliably combo'd with anything after U46 or stacked on multiple adds for a burst combo on trash packs
it's one of the buggiest executes (that just flat out misses/doesn't proc 90% of the time despite being a debuff proc that sticks to its target)

There's a reason stamsorcs never bothered with it at all, even post hybridization, and that magsorcs have been begging for a proper execute (similar to impale) to be added to destro staff line since forever (no, flame impulse is not an execute).

The issue is mages fury (and by extension the morphs) need a complete overhaul, not just a buff. It's not a simple numbers issue that is the reason the ability is bad, it's a design issue of the ability itself. The ability was designed for the ESO that existed 8 years ago, not current ESO combat design standards.
This is a common issue with the entirety of Sorcs kit, everything in sorcs kit was designed for pre-2020 ESO combat standards/designs (from shields to frags, to fury, and even the stronger abilities in streak where it was heavily balanced by much lower general sustain of the time) and the only way to keep sorc viable at all while not doing a complete rework of the kit to make it work with modern ESO, is to completely overbuff the numbers that just creates other balance issues (as we saw with hardened ward in U41).
Too bad ZOS doesn't have a Sorc dev as part of the team to spearhead a full rework for sorcs, like ZOS does a NB dev that already did this for the NB class that used to suffer from similar issues before the U35 rework of NB's entire kit.

    On Bone Tyrant and subclassing
At the moment Ghostly Embrace, which is a nice skill for PvE DPS, is stuck inside a tanking skill line. In order to make the skill line more appealing for damage dealers, I think it would be cool if this skill line received some changes in the future myself.

Ruinous Scythe could become a better spammable
Since Hungry Scythe seems to be the preferred morph for tanks, it would be nice if Ruinous Scythe would become a good AoE spammable for DPS in my opinion. At the moment its outclassed by other class's AOE spammables though, and it costs more too.

    28oq0xqwuc46.png

Biting Jabs for example deals 53% more damage than Ruinous Scythe. Hence, I think it'd be great if Scythe's cost would be reduced to 2295, the radius would be increased to 8 meters and its damage would be increased. I do realize that Scythe always procs the Hemorrhaging status effect, which is awesome, but without a serious buff to the base damage or some sort of execute scaling the skill is not great.

Ghostly Embrace could still be improved somewhat
During the PTS cycle when this morph was reworked, someone in the feedback thread suggested to make the effects of the three patches additive (so that the third patch, for example, applies Chilled, the DoT and creates a corpse). I still think that would be a good improvement, along with switching the first and second effect around (so that the first patch has the DoT and the second patch has the Chilled status effect).

Bone Armor could get a DoT
Since the v11.0.3 patch notes mentioned adding more sources of Frost Damage to the game in the future, maybe this skill (or just one of the morphs), could get a Frost DoT that dealt X damage every 2 seconds over its duration? It could make this skill line more interesting for subclass setups with Winter's Embrace.

    Remote Totem could be reworked
Speaking of Frost Damage - perhaps the extra range of the Remote Totem morph could be added to the base skill, and Remote Totem could be renamed and reworked into a DPS ability that deals (Frost) Damage? I've always liked the visuals and sound of this skill - I think it'd be cool if I had a reason to use it as a damage dealer :) .

A passive could be switched or buffed
The lack of any DPS passives would still hamper the skill line though - so perhaps Death Gleaning could be switched with one of the passives in the Grave Lord skill line? That would reduce the power of the Grave Lord skill line for subclassing a little bit too. Or maybe a new damage buff could be added to one of the current Bone Tyrant passives instead, which would be a buff for pure Necromancers.

    Edit: Corrected a typo.

okay i tested a few things on the ptr for subclass and i must voice how bad spec bow crits are for the game. I stacked as much crit resist as possible 7 inpen plus rally and crit resist cp with 30k resists and still got smacked for 19k spec bow crit. if this goes like everyone will run assassin subspec for a little while before quitting out of frustration of constant one shots.

we need to tone down the crit damage

I tried telling yall week 1, you might as well forget crit resist and learn how to block/roll dodge. That new mythic , and double spec bows are the Devs way of telling us what their favorite child is.
