That’s not a bug, that’s a valid nightblade passive working as intended. Thread can be closed.

Please don't close this thread because someone other than the OP asked for it to be closed. I don't think that's how forums are supposed to work.
Additionally, I think it's helpful for players to become aware of yet another way NB's are too OP in a PvP environment. NB's have all kinds of little helps and perks like this that add up to making NB's too OP in a PvP situation. People should be aware of all of them.

That’s a bug reporting section, the issue in question is not a bug, never has been, and always worked like this. Case closed, thread can be closed. If you want, you can make yet another “nerf nightblade” thread in another section and complain there as much as you want.

But it shouldn't work like this. No other class can generate ulti outside of combat, so neither should NB. That makes it a bug, by design or otherwise.
Furthermore, what makes you think you have the right to demand a thread be closed when you're not the OP or a moderator?
Imagine that... 20 ultimate every 45 seconds only in combat and it requires consumable...AngryPenguin wrote: »JustLovely wrote: »That’s not a bug, that’s a valid nightblade passive working as intended. Thread can be closed.

What makes you think you are the one claiming it shouldn’t work like this? No other class also has a streak like sorcerer, or gaining resources while using an ulti like dk. That’s called a class identity, and nightblade as an assassin class should have a way to “prepare” for the fight, and this passive ability exactly does that.

With all seriousness, most likely it would be the worst passive in the game lol. One could argue that if this NB passive would not require a consumable & was not potion dependant (45 seconds cool-down), then yeah... it could be considered OP.... but are you people serious ? That is a problem now ? You can get more ulti & faster on every other class. Even if you want to gank, you just attack a bunch of wolves or mudcrabs & you get ulti way faster.... but yeah... NB is a problem. Sorc can nuke you from distance and ball groups can "ball group" without a counter, but oh no, NB can get very few ulti-points when out of combat... Yeah... that will be our main topic to distract attention from real important things...
I am sorry, I am not trying to bait. I just express my opinion here. This claim is just ridiculous.

Try to understand the other perspective as well, Necromancers are not able to generate corpses outside of combat specifically to prevent ultimate generation outside of combat. That is the Dev's statement. So why do Necromancers get punished for outside of combat ult regen but Nightblades do not?

Can necros no longer create/absorb corpses out of combat to regain ultimate?
Guys, do I need to pull up the old patch notes where it explicitly states why this passive woeks as it does, from the devs themselves when they had been altering things like this?
