New Elk Announcement Is Not true, Why?

ZOS just posted this and claims we can earn it through GeForce NOW, but that's not true

I even contacted ZOS support and was told that I would have to have a Nvidia GPU and earn it through the app or GeForce Experience, NOT the NOW app.
I have already tried with GeForce NOW for two hours and nothing happened, and I put in a ticket and that was what I was told.

Please @ZOS review this and stop giving people false hope.

Funny, I followed the instructions with the GeForce Experience thing and still no mount. These kind of promotional giveaways are always janky.

It's not even that. I was told by ZOS customer service that you MUST have a Nvidia GPU and you must use the Nvidia App or GeForce Experience.
The announcement mentioning GeForce Now is false information.

How is it not true? I have earned this mount by following the instruction on the nvidia website.

Did you use GeForce NOW or GeForce Experience/The Nvidia app?
Edit: Reading the comment, no, you used the Nvidia app, which is not GeForce Now, and I am talking about GeForce now.

Are you playing with the standalone ESO launcher? Or are you playing through Steam or Epic? If using the standalone launcher, you can claim your reward from support.

I played through steam with GeForce Now, for two hours. Didn't get anything, contacted your customer support and was told GeForce Now does not work.

Hi. Sorry, which support? I thought the article on the ESO site definitively said this was Steam or Epic only? I'm a bit lost in the multiple threads on this topic.

Yeah, the promotion is messed up.

I do have Nvidia hardware and pay for a subscription to GeForce Now and couldn't get the mount through GeForce Now. I had to install the steam version of ESO so the Nvidia app would recognize the game and launch it from there before I finally got the code for the mount.

I don't know who is getting the codes through only using GeForce Now, but it wasn't working for me.
