I like the way that Frost focuses on applying Chilled so much. It’s a unique way to play the game with such a status focused style. One of the few play styles that really utilises the Charged trait to maximum value. I think the Frost Destro and Winter’s Embrace skills need some more work but that’s another post.
Bleed is Werewolf's main damage type since Update 42. I love the thematic idea of rending the flesh of your foes in a bloody fashion.
The Hemorrhaging status effect is also interesting; it's a damage over time that gets stronger the more it's applied, up to three stacks. Bleed Damage is also buffed by the Blooddrinker set in a way that no other damage type is.

Frost but also Shock. If I use double destro staves on a character, usually I'll go this route. Funny that both affect not only health but also the resources (stamina and magicka respectively) in single player games. Flame is cool, but overdone imo.

Gold/Purple Food for Sorc PvP and Meme Tanking:(PvP) Clockwork Citrus Filet (increases Max Health by 3326, Health Recovery by 406 [useful if stage 1 vampire], Max Magicka by 3080, and Magicka Recovery by 338 for 2 hours). Witchmother's Potent Brew (Increase Max Magicka by 2856, Max Health by 3094, and Magicka Recovery by 315 for 2 hours.
Trash Potions when feeling cheap: Regular CP150 Essence of Magicka pots that I obtain frequently from playing the game or Crown Tri-Restoration Potion obtained from dailies.
Crafted Potions: Essence of Spell Critical (Bugloss, Lady's Smock, and Water Hyacinth). Without magelight this is my primary means of obtaining Major Prophecy on my Sorc, which increases my Spell Critical Rating. This also heals and restores magicka. Essence of Immovability (Columbine, Corn Flower, and Wormwood). I use this in PvP, since this gives me stealth detection, knockback immunity, and restores magicka (better to use it when competent allies are nearby, since it might reveal that you are surrounded by multiple players in stealth and you will not have an emergency pot available after use). Essence of Invisibility with only 2 ingredients (Blue Entoloma, Namira's Rot, Nirnroot, or Spider Egg). I use this in PvE content that requires stealth and if I need more speed I'll use Rapid Maneuver before using the potion. Essence of Invisibility with 3 ingredients (Blessed Thistle, Blue Entoloma, and Namira's Rot). Very useful in PvP alongside the vampire Dark Stalker passive, since you'll be invisible, ignore movement speed penalty while in Crouch, and you'll have a 30% movement speed boost from Major Expedition (I always have this slotted when riding from point A to B in PvP land, since gankers are always lurking). My templar/arcanist will mostly use Essence of Health (Tri-Stat Potion) Ingredients: (Mountain Flower, Columbine, and Bugloss).
For PvP, I use Physical and Shock the most. However I've started using the Disease morphs of the two Scribing abilities Pestilent Soul and Pestilent Burst. All enemy players around me have nearly 100% uptime on Minor Defile.
I get Bleed damage from my weapons, but my favorite kind of damage is Physical damage-- because it's simple. That doesn't stop me from adding other types of damage to my weapon's basic Physical damage, but those are just extras.
not because it’s effective or anything else, but because I basically love fire. That's why scribing was the best update for me. Before scribing, I couldn't use fire on my stam sorc without resorting to a staff. Now I can burn my enemies with absolutely any weapon. I'm just happy.
I like to deal percentage health damage. It's a neat mechanic.
I like it too. I hope the next class has some built in Oblivion Damage skills. Obviously balance would be a problem but perhaps if it was some kind of “curse” debuff that could not stack on players, but could stack on PVE enemies. With a top end cap of course.
I'd really like it if Sorc had retained its original identity as a shock-master, but we can't have everything. I think you get more out of flame damage.

"Nightblade healer huh? How does that work?"
"I drain the blood of our enemies and fire it into you. It's a lot less messy than it sounds, and yeah I'm basically a Vampire without the whole AGH FIRE BAD"
My personal favorite is shock thematically and aesthetically. I think I blame watching Avatar the Last Airbender as a kid and, while I thought everything in there was cool, the lightning bending especially so. And when I started playing TES, before I started making characters and roleplaying, I adored lightning spells. I haven't really ever played many games other than TES, but I did play Bioshock and just loved the visual of electro bolt.
It's not really about how shock is played in ESO though or any game, it's really just about the visual and power fantasy. Game wise, I'd agree with the OP about frost because I always had the most fun on my ice warden keeping up brittle with destructive reach, without a charged staff.
All my various characters have various skills, ways of approaching combat, and their own ''favorite damage types'' because of roleplay and stuff, of course, so I really enjoy any type of damage and fighting based on the character I'm roleplaying at the time. But, personally, I love shock.
I've never really been a fan of magic in TES games. Swords and bows, swords and bows.... Not bows in ESO though. I do have magicka characters, but I don't really play them much. I even have CP 160 magicka characters. Still don't play them much.
i just wish sources of oblivion dmg in this game were just not like super bad (they are all but useless in pve due to the low hard caps and no crits, and only marginally useful in pvp)
i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them
Legends never die
They're written down in eternity
But you'll never see the price it costs
The scars collected all their lives
When everything's lost, they pick up their hearts and avenge defeat
Before it all starts, they suffer through harm just to touch a dream
Oh, pick yourself up, 'cause
Legends never die
I've always been partial to Frost Damage in games for some reason. Which is pretty strange now that I think about it, because I dislike the cold and winter is my least favourite season...
Anyways, I like Frost Damage in ESO as well. That's part of the reason why I main a Stamden and a Frostden is my second most played character. And it's cool that my Magcro can use Chilling Knife or Ghostly Embrace as semi-spammables now, instead of lobbing flaming skulls.
For my MagDK, I go all in in Flame Damage though, and Physical Damage is nice too due to Sundered procs.
