I'm not really into the red that much for one of my sorcerers. I would've preferred gold or fuchsia for the sorc skills. But I'm pretty sure red is one of the higher desired colors for sorc skills based on what I've heard from people.
So, I don't think the color choices are bad, but I do think just one color option is. I feel like two colors for each of the class skills that are in the pack would've been cool. Obviously like 10 of them, or a color pick feature, would be the best, but yeah.
edit: But overall, I think the color choices for each class are actually good and fit what I'd guess would be most popular with players, especially dragonknight's blue, nightblade's purple, sorcerer's red, and necromancer's red.
I can agree warden's orange might not be a likely most popular color choice like dragonknight's blue flames are, but I think it suits the shalks and mushrooms skills. Maybe purple would've been a better choice. I'm not sure what warden players would've most wanted.
I feel like it should be:
DK: Blue (blue flame is a thing)
Templar: Pastel rainbow or white (Currently skills are yellow and/or pastel rainbow)
Warden: Red or green (stamden)
Sorcerer: Yellow (lightning)
Nightblade: Purple or black (shadows)
Arcanist: Purple (purple is arcanist’s alt color)
Necro: I like the red

They’re literally free
Don’t use them if you don’t like them. I don’t understand the need to complain over free cosmetics

Free to obtain doesn't mean free from feedback. I'm definitely going to use most of them, but I can still say that I think new class skill styles should be the same colors as these, otherwise it'll be a bit of a colorful mess. Skills other than class skills can be colorful fine, but class skills should be similar or an agreeable color. Orange on arctic wind and red for the Daedric Twilight (not free but the criticism stands) are ugly in design, and in my opinion don't work as well as other skills would have.

I'm pretty sure they've mentioned that it is their intention to provide colours for ALL skills of a particular class (Or skill line)
Meaning that, yes, we will eventually get the remaining skills in the same colour schemes as the current skill styles
Not only for the recent class skills, but also the other skill lines such as the Purple Psijic skills, Purple Destro staff skills, Purple Resto staff skills, Purple Fighter's Guild skills, Purple Soul Magic skills etc. (I wonder what the lead designer's favourite colour is?)

Good, that makes me feel better at least.
One of my Warden's builds uses Torchbearer, Scorch, Banner Bearer, Polar Wind and Trample - I'm so happy that I can now have them all orange! (Kinda)
So... I guess every new skill color will have its fans XD

I’ve always wanted my dk to breathe blue flames instead of green ones.
