What kind of new Scribing Skills you like to see in the future?

    I'd like to see a summon grimiore. Like choosing which focus determines what atronach (e.g. flame=flame atro, disease=flesh atro) Not like the double baring sorc ones either, more like the necro skeletons and ghost.

    I think double bar ones are fine if they function at a level worthy of two slots.

    I think a ground DoT just to serve Poison, Disease and Bleed would be welcome. Maybe an “Arcane Pool” that can be respecced into a Poison Pool, Putrescent Pool, Bloody Pool, Freezing Pool etc etc. bonus points if it gets increased chance to apply the matching status effect.

    None of the above. Peaceful skills: night vision, see life, see the undead, fast swimming, firefly, spirit guide to the goal (for navigation in quests), lure fish, hide other people's pets...

    Summons would be amazing. Let me summon a flame atronach!!

    I'd like to see some drain (magicka, stamina) skills.

    Some "magicka"-feeling tanking/control skills would be great: I'm experimenting with a light armour, sorc-shield based tank. Its actually pretty fun, but as you can probably imagine, it reaches its viability threshold pretty early. Some enchanting, illusion- and alteration-based skills could fill a lot of niches.

    Yes! I'd absolutely LOVE to see some exploration-based skills. I'd add invisibility, pacify, open lock, water walking. Also a mage light spell that actually sheds light (for darker areas). I think exploration could be more fun.

    The bow skill “vault” is too niche to even bother with for me.

    So I would like a scribing skill for bow that I would actually want to use. TBH I don’t know what it would be exactly, but it’s something to be done at long range, not short range.

    An Ultimate
    Ultimate, but armor ultimate, armor skills deserves something interesting other than only the passives and the one active skill.

    Here's some of my idea
    • Light Armor Ultimate: Teleport!
      Teleport like a mage! With all the magical skills you cannot free teleports even if at high cost, this just doesn't sounds like a mage, right? Besides, you have Undo from psijic guild, that goes "back" in time, I would presume that the space warp should be easier than time reverse.
      Balance-wise, something around 200 ult, range of 28m (screw the 15m or 22m range on gap closer, ultimate should be ULTIMATE!), and probably with a 1s cast-time
    • Medium Armor Ultimate: Poof!
      Invisibility with a smoke bomb is always classic, the npcs can do this, the companions can do this, there should be no restriction for the vestige on the acquisition of those gadgets (yes, we do have a mementos, but can't really work in combat and make you invisible right?)
      Something like 200 ult might do, 6 seconds as we shall not be bested by companions!
    • Heavy Armor Ultimate: One Punch!
      Punch at your enemy in the face! or body, if your are being polite. I would say that an entire unarmed skill line might be unlikely but one customizable punching skill sounds at the sweet point. It should deplete your ultimate like the overload skill. And to add some reality, probably you shall be disabled of your weapon skills in the meantime, after all it doesn't sounds feasible to punch well with fist while holding something else.
      Replacing light and heavy attacks, 25 ult depleted per punch, melee range, light attack will not drain ultimate if not aiming at a target(but a missed punch will still drain it), heavy attack hits in a cone. dmg should scale off max defensive status.

    It is not necessarily what I "want" to see but rather what I think is very likely to be added.

    Basically, NB's cloak as scribing skill. Especially after they changed it from castable skill with a 3 second duration to a toggle.

    We kinda already have "streak" (vault), but it works backwards & requires a bow.

    I mean what could possibly be the reason for altering core class skill after 10 years of said skill working pretty much the same over those 10 years ? The only logical reason is that they most likely have something similar planned.
