Kill 50 World Bosses Holy!

Kill 50 World Bosses!? Is this an error? That's so much more than what this weekly has been every other time... Even the wiki says this weekly should be "Kill [15, 20, 30] Group Bosses".

It doesn't matter if the other weeklies are faster or easier to complete. This weekly's requirement should not be double the amount that it always has been.

Why do they seem to keep increasing the requirements for completing endeavors!? Rhetorical question, I can guess why... :/

Actually, you don't need to PvP to get Tel Var Stones, just do PvE in a PvP-enabled zone. I know that isn't everyone's cup of tea, but the good news is that you don't need to accumulate 1250 Tel Var Stones, just earn that many. That is to say, even if you end up losing every single Tel Var Stone that you earn, it still counts toward the endeavor.

I got the tel-var relatively quickly just by wandering around the Imperial City killing random NPCs. I'm not sure how long exactly but it was under 2 hours.

I also got someone else's weekly done very quickly because after I'd been in there a while and hadn't seen a single other player I decided it would be safe to withdraw 10k tel var to get the 4x multipler, so I went back to my base, withdrew them and headed out again. I'd barely even left the base when someone found and killed me. It's almost like they knew.

I have thousands of tel var I almost never use, so I didn't care about losing 5k, but since I was back in the base I decided to deposit what I had and just carry on farming with the 1x or 2x multiplier.

I know it was just blind luck, but it was pretty funny that as soon as I decided it was safe I found seemingly the 1 other person there this morning.

the other reasoning is if i dont withdraw and take any with me, 100% of the tel var im earning is "new" tel var, so if i die and go back to base, even "losing" a portion of what i collected is still a net positive in tel var over what i started with

    IA for me, much quicker.

Not impressed with the dailies today either. I always keep one treasure map (and one survey and one of each type of writ) in case of daily endeavours and now they are asking that we do two of them. RNG means of course none drop for me today.

I don't normally bring any tel var with me either. But it was early morning on a weekday and like I said I hadn't seen any other players since getting to IC so I thought it would be safe to risk it.

It didn't affect getting the weekly done, I just found it funny that I was found and killed immediately after that instead of the hour or so before when I was running around with between 0 and a few hunded tel var.

majority of the time i never see people either, even being down there for hours, and then one random time im heading back to base someone will try to gank me, but i always play cautiously so only about 50% of the time they might succeed in killing me if they are a seasoned ganker (theres also been times ive turned the tables on them too)

These two points are my takes on it as well. While I enjoy IA, I think it's respectless to push people into content this way. There are 3 options to choose from for the weeklies, but by making it 50 WB's, they've made sure this is a week some people will have to skip, or put in way more time than they'd wanted to. That doesn't yield long term player engagement, but burnout instead.
It's also really annoying that so many daily endeavors are way more niche and specific. It's becoming harder to earn them through the normal playing that I do, instead I have to go out of my way to do certain things to get 3/5.
I also don't have gold road yet, making the many "do something-or-other with scribed skills impossible". But I do not seem to remember the endeavors pushing me so hard towards the newest chapter all the other years, and I really don't appreciate this development either.

Infinite Archive is pretty easy. You'll get it before even Arc 1 is done. I got just trying to get my plunder skull in the background the day it dropped. I didn't need to do additional effort. I'm sure the world bosses are there because of a good chunk of players are just farming dolmens and bosses over and over, I've seen them when I went out and about to get my plunder. They may not have finished all 50 before the event ends but they probably got a good chunk done.

I do agree they should have stuck with 30 at most as that's already a lot to me. But I can see the logic of picking two endeavors that people are doing anyway during an event

Fully agreed, I think they probably thought it would be a good one for newer players who haven't cleared all of the WBs in the various zones yet, but then they overestimated how many WBs those players could get done this week with only a few days left in the event.

The newer players who want to do this endeavor rather than one of the other two can still probably get it done by the end of this coming weekend, especially since newer players seem more inclined to group up for WBs. It's older players who prefer to do most everything solo who will probably be most inconvenienced or turned off by this particular endeavor.

I still think the Tel Var endeavor is super easy, if only non-PvP players would be willing to get over their dislike of PvP zones. I'm pretty lousy at PvP myself, but it's pretty easy to run around the IC districts or IC sewers earning Tel Var. The sewers are probably safer than the districts, if more confusing to navigate, and it doesn't take very long to earn enough Tel Var for the endeavor in the sewers.

i ended up doing the tel var, which i hit 1250 in about 10 min lol (it did help to kill a banner boss early in my run last night)

arc 1 usually takes me an avg of 15 min so time equivalence would be about the same for the tel var or archive

personally went with the tel var option because i actually need the tel var now that they have curated gear boxes in IC lol

Looks like the increase in dailies is a theme right now. Really not impressed with the two thieves troves one at all. It can take ages to find even one when it is a daily endeavour. Finding two is going to take time that I just don't have today.

I really hope they rethink this increased requirements on dailies.

But of course they won't because the few seals we can earn with the dailies, the more people will have to resort to paying for crowns to get the items they want.

yeah i think most are pretty easy, technically 50 WB is easy, its just taking the time to wait for respawns if your farming 1 specific one

personally i just use harvestmap to tell me in game where possible thieves troves spawn, a lot easier than using a separate map (this option only works for PC though)

I may have to look for that map. I know where all the spawn spots are in a few zones where I generally go for them, but they do take ages to find when it is an endeavour.

I agree that some of them have got easier, but this one in particular is always a pain for me and to double it is really disappointing.
