The special outfit or weapon styles from the 10-year anniversary event.

I use these weapon styles on all of my characters, but not to show off. I use them because it was the most horrific grind I've ever experienced in any game I've ever played. I did nothing but grind for these day after day for hours at a time, and I finally got the last one because they extended the event by one day on my server, and that's when I got it. So after all that frustration I will display them, for my own satisfaction

You should also make sure to participate in the current event and events in general if this your thing. The event tickets items are nice. Not really a big show off since lots of people are participating but they are things people talk about later

ppl that say its too easy or doesn't mean anything are just upset that it's slightly easier to obtain a certain stuff than before- it's still big time investing for many achieves and still meaningful to many players who got it

the question is not what it means to someone else, but what it means to YOU, don't let other ppl devalue your experience and achievement just because they don't want you to take pride in something you did or bring you down

these are people that want to bring you down before you even set out to start, dont let them convince you that it doesnt mean anything. appreciate your own experience and what it means to YOU

    angry strangers online don't matter

I agree. I have the Tamriel Hero title on my main because it means a lot to me. It was a real stretch goal for this old gal.

I have Dro-m’Athra Destroyer on another. Some of my alts have Clan Mother and other housing titles.

Players will be able to get these again. And it will be easier if players have certain achievements. From the PTS patch notes v10 2.2

The unique and bound style pages from 2024's Anniversary Jubilee are also back, with some improvements on their availability sourcing. As you earn achievements related to the sourcing, the chance to receive them from said sources increases dramatically. Here's the breakdown:

Replica Trueflame Sword: Very rare drop from fishing. Less rare if you have either Dominion, Covenant, or Pact Fisherman achievement. Uncommon rarity if you have all base-game Master Angler achievements.

Replica Staff of Worms: Very rare drop from dolmens. Less rare if you have either Dominion, Covenant, or Pact Anchor Shatterer achievement. Uncommon rarity if you have Anchors Away achievement.

Replica Sunna'rah Staff and Replica Barbas Wolf Helmet: Very rare drop from Vvardenfell world bosses. Less rare if you have Defender of Morrowind achievement. Uncommon rarity if you have Savior of Morrowind achievement.

Replica Ul'Vor Staff: Very rare drop from Abyssal Geysers. Less rare if you have Abyssal Devastator achievement. Uncommon rarity if you have Savior of Summerset achievement.

The only things that really are a flex are a select number of titles. Mostly trifectas (which most trial trifectas also come with a mount), but master angler commands some dedication as well.

This question made me realize there's no point in being a good player in this game. Everything cool looking comes through the Crown store and therefore can be bought by money.

There are no limited availability mounts or titles coming from the difficult end-game content. Literally zero motivation to be good.

There are mounts which are directly linked to endgame achieve and not obtainable any other way. To get there needs dedication, skill and persistence. I did one easy trifecta (DB) and that´s really enough. I think achieving one of theese is really impressive.

The knowing will recognize them as well as the corresponding titles. The rest you might impress with a flashy shop mount more. Question is what´s your target group.

I think players believe that others are noticing them way more than really are. I barely even look at other players, let alone envy them.

I agree on the most part. If a character catches my eye, I will compliment that player. But that is down to their sense of style and creativity more than anything else. Maybe that's the path the OP may want to consider if they want to turn heads. Though not everyone has that level of talent, I certainly don't. Everything else that maybe considered 'flash' doesn't even register.

I finally got my game fully downloaded and I'm now questing in the starting area. Fun stuff. I do have another question though...

So... On matters of "flexing" to other players and showing them cool stuff... What do we have available? Can you give me a list please?

Companions? Pets? Mounts? Houses? A certain slottable skill morphed and mastered? A legendary weapon?

What are all of them? I just wanna be a collector in this game. It gives me a goal.

    Knowing all the motifs/style
getting the speical end game mounts/titles
    Having low ping/stable connection
Owning and fully furnishing ALL the houses
unlocking every single dye in the game
    using /flex

are a few example of things you can "flex" with...although from most players you'll get no reactions, and from those that do react, it'll be, at most something along the lines of "....neat?"

collecting rare items or collectibles usually just means you were able to buy/acquire something at the right time like the Dragon's Treasure Trove and the old ESO Plus loyalty rewards. not really cool to me

i imagine it might seem cool to some people if you got the Dragonguard Beserker or Gravegrasp styles from Imperial City,
as you can't purchase them unless you're above rank 20 in Cyrodiil/imperial city.
But it just requires spending lots of time getting millions of alliance points to rank up and then telvar stones to purchase them.

I was actually planning on owning literally a third of a stack of an alchemical ingredient for virtually all obtainable alchemy ingredients in the entire game and then compose an advertisement calling myself "the Alchemy Trader". And basically provide anything that they need for a certain amount for any player.

It just scares me to think how big of an undertaking that is considering I wasn't able to do that even in vanilla Skyrim.

But no doubt I'd have something more precious than gold. lol

a third of a stack of a reagent is roughly (on adverage) half of an alchemy survey, and given there's some lazy bums out there who let their surveys pile up into the hundreds, eh, wouldn't really be a notable achivement, and that's not even factoring in the useful reagents that are sold by the stack, in their dozens per minute in the guild traders.

Note: You can't get Powdered Mother of Pearl, Dragon's Bile, Crimson Nirnroot, Dragon's Blood, Dragon's Rehum, Chaurus Egg, Clam Gall or Vile Coagulant from an Alchemy Survey.
And of that lot the only ones which are super useful as to have people be willing to cough up coin for them are the dragon juices and mother or pearl (ult gen and uber healing potion options)

Alchemy ingredients are not difficult to get - they're found on the ground in all maps and all characters can collect them, that's why you were told in another thread that they're a good way for new players to get money, because it's something everyone can find anywhere but is worth selling. The one thing to bear in mind is they're also widely available at guild traders and from people selling in towns, so you'll need to make sure your prices are comparable. (Also you'll probably want to get more than 1/3 of a stack of each - that's only 67 items so it'll go quite quickly. A lot of people will buy and sell between 10 and 200 at once.)

I know you've already been told this in your other threads but I really recommend just playing the game for a while and learning how it works before you try to set yourself long-term goals, rather than trying to imagine what you might want to do based on other games.

Guess people are taking about two different things, one being actual visual value and creativity and others are talking about what OP wanted as more mmo'ish head turners like rare mounts, effects etc. that showing off rarity and accomplishments. The second part is mostly dead because we can observe the decline of people actively engaging on a matter of those, like years and years ago you'd get weekly whispers about trials and dungeons, your group composition or a build, guild to run with or simply asking how did you get that and what is that etc. and now it could be a once a year to never thing to occur as the game is a whole is filled with similar stuff and amount of people who care about progging stuff is lower and already probably aware of the path ahead unlike then.

If we exclude legacy items that aren´t really obtainable anymore (which can be a cool to showcase to be fair), I´d say something like chef arquitius's lost thesis is probably the most "flexable" item you can showcase and brag about if you somehow would manage to get it. It´s currently the rarest/hardest obtainable item in the game if you ask me.

Nowadays, nothing, as almost everything has been nerfed to the ground and all things are easily obtained with some time invested.

Maybe the mounts from the three or four last trials trifectas, and BlackRose Prison trifecta, but imho nothing else.

Endeavors killed how unique Radiant Apex were, empty campaings and the tremendous amount of double AP givgen all the time killed Emperor and Grand Overlord titles, so those ones neither.

There is nothing rare in this game anymore.

I'm not gonna lie, it's actually slightly reassuring for me. It feels like I don't need to do anything epic to look cool. I downloaded this game to de-stress, so I'm honestly fine with that.

    Seriously though, what are they?
Agree. This one is only here to farm is probably my favorite style.
    ftQ0bsn.png

Its some skins and stuff and the former emperor title, or the permanent emperor one who require timing and a kind of glitch to get, think its related to the extra campaigns during the pvp events and being the current emperor then it shut down?
The radiant apex ones required lots of luck or lots of money and time to open all the crates.
Now many skins and titles is kind of secret wealth I think, not well know like hard achievements but its so many of them most will not know.
Grinding just make you go in circles.

Yep. I run past players like they aren't there. Then when I get to an objective, I don't even look at other players.

The only time I look at a player is when it's a friend and we're in the same location chatting back and forth. For example, if we're dueling and testing PvP stuff then I might look at their character model while I'm waiting for them to type and respond. But even then I don't really notice what they're wearing. I mostly just don't care

Beast and worm wizard personality, you have to earn them doing no death, speedrun, and hardmode dlc dungeons

Or you just buy a carry run for one milllion. It's quite common these days. Zone Chat is usually full with advertisements for carry runs.

Personally I get respect, when I have a good character outfit or a nicely furnished home. An individual approach to fashion and housing is about the only really unique and not easily reproduced thing left in this game.

What about score boards? Do these not show these not show you are the best if you are on top. Maybe they need add some sort of visual representation of being top of the score board, rather than saying to someone, but look I'm on top of the weekly score board. Maybe an outfit or an effect that you can only wear whilst at the top? Maybe they need a bit more of that to add some competitiveness back in to the game, so people can strut around showing off stuff.

I assume people who care about that will check the scoreboard to see who's on it, and people who don't care...don't care. They're not going to know what that costume means or notice when they see it.

I know there's a costume you only get by being the emperor, but I couldn't tell you what it looks like or if I've ever seen a player using it, and if I did I wouldn't know where it came from because it's not something which interests me so if they're going around expecting players like me to be impressed they're out of luck.

I do like to see what other players do with their characters and will sometimes look something up if I think it's interesting, but when I realise it's a costume and not a creative outfit and it's from some part of the game I don't play that's when I lose interest.
